Khadgar and Tyrande definitely need an accessible rerun as some people never got a fair chance to get them. Making people jump through hoops like getting Amazon Prime or getting access to an IOS device to get specific heroes is just annoying.
I grabbed Tyrande at the time but balked at having to pay £5.99 or whatever it was for Khadgar. If they released Khadgar again I'd probably be a sucker and buy him.
Given Tyrande codes were being bid up on eBay to over £100 after the promotion ended, there must be a whole lot of people ready to buy her.
Exclusives should stay exclusive in my opinion. It is a reward for people that cared back then.
Right because people who live in countries that didn't have twitch prime back then are assholes who didn't care about Tyrande anyway. Screw them, right?
Actually, I live in a country where it was not available, yet I got it for free (you registered an american adress in amazon and started a free trial).
Right, because that's definitely something Blizzard want to encourage.
If a reward was exclusive at a certain time and locked behind an high paywall (like an Hero potrait from a 80€ preorder), then they should never put it back at a lesser value. The reason is because they may loose potential income from those who commited to get that specific potrait and then see everybody else achive it with far less efforts. Those people will probably no commit again if a future similar situation.
Imho they just should put the option to choose your own Hero's potrait reward from the 80€ preorder on each expansion set: you get all the goodies but instead of a fixed new Hero themed with the new set you can choose to get an old one instead.

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?
Wow you are some petty people. You don't want anyone to ever be able to have that skin again so that you can feel like you have something special. Yeah you payed €80 for Mechajaraxxus. You also got 80 packs with that.
A year is a long time to wait. Ok, yes if someone knows the skin will come back in a year, and they don't really want to get it or they feel they can't afford it, then they'll just say I'll wait for a year, but no one who has any real interest in it is going to say "Meh. I'll wait a year."
Exactly. I prepurchased and got Mecha-Jaraxxus. If Blizzard start to make these skins available again, I will not commit to such a big prepurchase.
I call bullshit. You still would have gotten 80 packs just for the discount. Besides, they didn't package a skin with a prepurchase this time and they might not do it again. Money they lose on some people passing on the skin initially is money they make back when they offer it again later. And I still say anyone who was ever going to get a skin is still going to get it right away. No one will ever wait a year if they actually want it. A year is basically eternity to wait if you actually want the skin.

Well they didn't put a hero behind a paywall this time so maybe they're going away form the all or nothing approach. And I still call bullshit on this "people will not commit" argument. A small portion of people who are on the fence won't commit but that would be more than made up for by people buying the skin later. People don't want to wait a year for anything, especially not if they're the kind of person who buys the $80 pre-order.
Your idea is great though and I would love to see that.
no they should be lost forever so that new ppl can never get them!
