Druid was overpowered for a long time. Had ridiculous cards and still does. There are very effective Druid decks out there still. Just cause the most popular deck went away doesn't mean Druid is dead. I've played against some very strong decks that were Druids.
What deck is going to be played after rotation???....... gg blizzard. You HOF naturalize, you nerf wild growth but all strong cards will be gone.
Druid has no playable archetype. Druid will be collecting dust.
The class have the most OP, Tier S decks and needed several nerfs for balance purposes in 9 expansions in a row, even Wild can't handle the insane power druid have and needed to be adjust.
It is ok the class be collecting dust for a while.
I'm pretty confident that there will still be druid decks that shine in the new expansion, even with the heavy hit that the class is taking with rotation and HoF, etc.
I get the impression that we may see some more heavy leanings towards token and treant decks. It feels like that's the direction Blizzard want to take the class next but we are still waiting for them to get the proper tools they need for it.
That said, I've never been much of a fan of Druid Token - it was annoying to play against when it was at its height - but I still appreciate it as a deck archetype.
Well, it was time already after 3 expansions of druids and gay decks that destroyed all controls and made the game against them unplayable. But.. chill, they always said that about classes, that its dead , and someone always came up with a new op deck.

You are talking nonsense, mate...You don't even know what druid cards will be available when the expansion hits.
Yes, some of the core druid cards will rotate, but others will be printed
