I guess all we can do is wait and see. I'm not saying Hearthstone will die.  In fact, I'm sure it'll still continue to be one of the biggest computer card games out there. It's just good for everybody that there is potentially some real competition finally.

Pretty sure i caught information that alot of the common HS streamers were paid to play to promote the release of the open beta and the New expansion comming with it. Givning the streamers full collections with it so they can showcase full game. Noxious is the only one i know that plays it to some real extent outside of now. Day9 already was on contract to play once a week he stated month ago.

Kripp amaz and trump im pretty sure have posted that they have been sponsored in the past to highlight the game, i assume its the same now. I think this is the case with kibler too but with his history in magic he would probobly fins hes way There anyway.

So i would not put to much weight into the sudden shift. Even If they do it for free i dont think its a big deal, magic has a surge of contet now and HS has passed the point of stalement until next expansion and by the time New HS exp comes magic is at the point HS is now. So aslongas they dont release New contet at the same time its fun to switch betwen them, i have for some time now

Yep, and Hearthstone is also really confusing if you just tune in not ever having played for that matter.  Also for people like me that have been playing both, MTG:A has a huge BRAND NEW meta with the open beta release.  Major rotation (thank Yogg!) and new expansion, and new players.  So there's a lot going on.

MTG is great.  HS is great.  Streamers *gasp* play multiple games and will spend a little more time on something that just came out. 

People need to stop clutching pearls over here and just enjoy what they like.  They're both great games.

Bro, no one cares about MTGA, they play it because they're sponspored. Wizard is not even that big in video game industry.

Artifact is where it at. Few pros/streamers have already confirmed they'll play it. Most of them had some competitive background and want something "less-casual", they trust Valve in that matter.
