newbie here. so uhh just to be crystal clear. If I do get the 2 arena tickets by doing this method, as soon as I lose one arena run, I can just play another afterwards?

Thanks for the info, I was a bit skeptical at first but after reading the update again it started to make sense. It seemed like a waste of 150 gold at first which is what the previous posters might have thought of as well. cheers!
This is why it took two years to get 18 deck slots...LOL. Anyway, the only thing I find "interesting" is that Daxxarri said "These tickets should stack"; although I do appreciate the reply from Daxxarri.
I can confirm (as others have) that the tickets DID stack during the Frost Festival. I had 2 tickets at the same time.
Thanks to the OP for starting this informative thread for the people that did not realize the benefit you get from the retired Arena run.
Instructions unclear. Made it to 8 wins (2 losses) and now devating whether I should go on or stop. I will probably regret it either way.
Well, 24th is a quite a few days away, if u plan on playing any arenas in the meantime, obviously u finish this run, since u can just start another one anytime before 24th and get the entry refund, doesnt rly matter how many wins u gonna get, u will get some bonus from doing that regardless ;-)
The only real doubt I have is: does anyone know the average reward increment from each new win? I ask that beacause depending on the number of wins you get your second loss, the 50% winrate times the average increase from another win might make it more compeling to try to push it than stoping.
I have this in mind beacause I am not that much of an arena player, despite having reached 12 wins a couple of times. The best strategy might be start an arena today, see if my 2 losses are on a low marginal return bracket, and keep that. If I am on a high marginal return point, I push it, risking have to start another run if I loose.
My first guess would be there is a high jump from 7 to 8 wins (one more reward, adding golden epic and legendary cards), and from 11 to 12 (one more reward and no plain rare). But I don´t know the distribution, if there is a higher chance of pack or legendary the higher you get.

In this thread - Arena Rewards Megathread! - u can see the table with the appropriate rewards at each win. Mind u, it is not 100% accurate, but its accurate enough to make an educated guess and is the most information thats known to the general community anyway.
That being said, i wouldnt go into such lengths as to theorise, if its worth pushing for one more win or not. There is still 5 days left and that is a plenty of time to play many arenas, so either u are an arena player and will play some arenas in the meantime and will just take whatever rewards ur gonna end up with on your last run before 24th or ur not ... and at that point u have to ask yourself, if its worth your time investment to squeeze out a bit more gold out of this or just play your best until 2 losses and call it a day ;-)

Love to overthink stuff! Anyways, if there was data on it ready, I might think about. If I reach 7, I am not stopping, because 8 looks like a very big leap. Thanks for the info anyways.
So the US got a free ticket today, with a warning to finish the run before 'hollows end' in 5 days
So maybe not?
Uhm what? U got an arena ticket already? That will probably be for the bugged out game after the recent patch, where u cant actually play the game at all, wouldnt it?
Just got "warning" that I should finish Arena run before it comes... are you 100% sure we will get an extra ticket on top of the default one we get with the promotion?
Thanks for posting this either way!
No one is 100% sure; we're going off a single sentence and its wording.
Went for it, despite Arena's hatred for me: went 0-2 with the worst Priest deck I've ever seen. One Epic, few Rares, no Legends, no spells of any value. Got promptly rolled over by a Rogue with 4 Legends, and a Mage with a plethora of clearing spells. Risked another game - because I had to get at least one victory, right? - was soundly defeated by Malfurion the Pestilent and some Giants.
But hey, at least my KFT pack was the bare minimum: 4 dupe Commons, and a dupe Rare! Hooray for me!
...Arena is not my friend.

Ofc we cant be 100% bulletproof sure until it happens, but this warning is mostly just informative, that your turn will be retired, if u had any desire to play it out fully, which normally u would.
Ofc they will not post a pop-up msg with "Hey ppl, dont retire your runs and get free entry fee refund. Scam us, we want u to!" xaxa :P
Also: "In the hours just before the beginning and conclusion of Hallow’s End on October 24 and November 6, it will temporarily be impossible to purchase a new Arena ticket."
So don't leaqve it too late / close to the deadline to get the arena ticket!
I noticed this as well, it certainly seem worth having an extra arena run active before the 24th. Although I'm not certain how having 2 free arena tickets at the same time will work? Can they even overlap, or does one overwrite the other?
They stack on top of each other.

So I started and did not retire my run, and indeed today got a KFT pack and 40 dust for my awful 2-2 attempts, plus 2 arena tickets. What is more, I got 2 WotOG packs. Did people without a retired run also get 2 packs? Many thanks to the OP for such clear instructions!
I am a cheeky F2P bastard so my question now is the following. Since I do not want any more KFT packs, does it make sense to take my first mixed-race run to 2 losses and leave it like that? My hope would be that on November 6th this run would retire with some rewards, and the remaining 3 tickets (1 for the retired run, and two regular Hallow End ones) would stay in my pocket for the new expansion. Do you think that would work?

Those two WOG packs are part of this weeks event, next week u should get 2x KFT pack. And while it should probably be fine to "save" stuff as u say, i think it makes no sense to actually do that, u want to play out the ticket at some point, might as well do it now and have fun :)

Thanks OP.
Whoever doesnt understand this, who is an arena player, just do this:
23rd Oct: Play your arena until you are on 2 losses. Stop, and get a life.
24th Oct: You benefited the most from this event.

Lol, good spot, OP.
I guess that some simply can't get their head around the maths. :-)
I'll be doing this for the extra free pack and dust / gold, for sure!
Also: "In the hours just before the beginning and conclusion of Hallow’s End on October 24 and November 6, it will temporarily be impossible to purchase a new Arena ticket."

Essentially what you get is 2 arenas for the price of one which is more value than 2 packs for 200g.
That's Incredible!
