Okay, I just finished losing a bunch of games in ESL, and I finally noticed one thing HS has that really should be given some praise.
It's just so fast, clean and effortless, just as it should be. Esc, one click, poof! You are out of the game. Seems simple, but in reality ESL does this in a much clunkier way, one that made me notice this in the first place.
ESL: Before recently, I believe the Concede button wouldn't even work until your opponent's ordered animations finished back there, but that has been fixed. Still, once you click it, a confirmation window pops up to ask if you're sure about it, and then the game ends after a much briefer moment (the hero explosion animation seems to have sped up as well)
HS: One click, the game ends. No need for pointless questions, or animations to complete, your opponent's next spell even whiffs. You want the game to end? It ends! Also, the little sound the button makes when you mouse over it feels great.
TL;DR: We really forget about how great this game's interface is, sometimes. Remember it next time you concede in another game.

Start of Year: Provoke the failure of 3 expansions, force nerfs on otherwise balanced cards, bring deckbuilding to an all-time low and get rotated one year earlier for being such a threat to the game's health. - Genn and Baku's historical entry on the White Book of Shit Design, shortly before retiring unpunished
