this is the craziest thing happened to me, I mean I've seen tempo rogues with milling potentials, but a druid???? it's one of a kind for sure!
I've never thought about the mill deck mainly coz it doesnt really work that well unless vs a miracle matchup...
but this druid burned a few cards off my deck!!! burned like 3-4 dead cards, that feeling was so sick
but nonetheless i was leading the whole way and it was easy game coz he gave me too much good cards to kill him
cards he played to mill me were, dancing swords, deathlord, oracle coldlight, king mukla, youthful brewmaster( to get oracle back to mill me more)
it was finished at turn 10, i had like 5 cards left....good thing i had cards to finish him easily, if it went to fatigue...i wouldn't know what would happen
I've seen one that beat the hell out of me about a week ago! Sure, I was playing with a very funky deck under work that had about a 30-40% win rate at the time, but wow, it was a beauty... I think they are coming.... Though, if they get popular, they are relatively easy to spot early on, so knowing that, at least you know you won't need to use your draw cards...
Problem with druid mill is you don't have a really good way to keep the board clear like rogue does. But I think if you can maybe just stall for most of the game and use your mill cards near the end it could work. Usually giving your opponent too much of a card advantage will be your undoing.
Also I did notice a mill deck can be fairly effective for beating some of the naxx bosses. Used a druid mill to beat two of them so far.

it wasn't easy to spot until i saw coldlight oracle, when he played deathlord, nothing sprang my mind...
even when i saw coldlight, i even thought it could possibly be some aggro druid deck or something...
when i saw like 3 cards get burned in one turn, i knew it was on....i was thinking srsly????
not sure how much potential there is for this kind of mill deck, it could spark other ppl's interest into deeper thinking in making decks
Naturalize is really good on a mill deck, but rogues are still better for the archetype, since they got sap, vanish and shadowstep (even kidnapper, lawl) to keep the board clear. In comparison druid mill seems to be a lot weaker.
Played against this once... basically Druid did everything in his power to mill me (bouncing coldlight oracle with brewmasters + naturalize) and then drops deathwing when he ran out of cards. It almost worked but I think I lucked into some direct damage spells to finish him off, but it was definitely the most original deck I've ever run into.

Naturalize is also such a great card for this strategy, and it isn't super new. I've seen a couple decks using it but none were very serious.

The strategy has been around for awhile. I'm not surprised that people are trying it again now that Naxx is out.
The funny thing is that everyone who plays this deck knows that Blizzard will nerf it if we ever manage to get it to a top-tier competitive level.
