Well you know the reason this thread is beeing opened (also i am not sure if there is a similar one). What are your thought's of adding True damage in the game in a future expansion that Skips any of this armor madness some warriors and mages druids (priests eventually) are getting during the matches?
Hopefully at some point it will be added considering many matches can be lost due to the excessive Power of armor! (Remember when Alexrtraza removed the armor? those where the days! but i think it was a bug anyway :P)
I don't see why they wouldn't implement it just because it directly counters something. Swamp ooze does the same thing to weapons, and assuming it kills a weapon when you play it, it has insane value. The fact that it would directly counter only 3 of 9 classes (and only 1 of those even consistently has enough armor for it to be a hassle) balances it out as well, which is the same thing balancing the swamp ooze.
Furthermore, if its a minion doing this, you have all of the inherent weaknesses involved with that, and if its a spell doing it you only have at most two shots and need to save it as a finisher otherwise you'll still need to bust through the armor. Both of these are also made moot by just having armor before your life reaches kill range for either of those methods to kill you.
If anything, I'd say the reasoning for it to not be added is because as a mechanic, it wouldn't fulfill its intended role more often than not.
No, No, and No! Rabidwhale kinda nailed it. It would be so gamebreaking. There already exists direct damage, armor is a very important mechanic for the classes that use it. "True Damage" would be ungodly vs Warriors, especially warrior decks that revolve around armor granting cards.
Decks that stack armor, are in no way game breaking at this point, besides the occasional Armorsmith + Wild Pyromancer + Whirlwind combo, with a lot of minions on the field. I don't know why you would even suggest such a thing, when there are clearly bigger balance issues.
Why would it be gamebreaking? It's just another mechanic. It would need to be balanced so it was inefficient against non-armoured foes, but give you the possibility to get a kill on an armoured foe. Personally I can't imagine that a card with this mechanic would be terribly popular, given that it would just be inefficient in most matchups.
Aye that's the point it's a card against a specific ammount of heroes.. i am not here to make the card it was just a suggestion against the armor hoarding and if you refuse to accept the fact there is some armor hoarding then you prolly are ignorant... (no offence but that's how it works)
I'm not opposed to having cards that counter armor, but something that hard counters armor as much as 'True Damage' would seems too powerful. I'd be more inclined to see counters such as these:
Counters armor without being able to bypass it entirely. I'd be more inclined to see counters like this crop up personally if they were to make any counters to it at all.

Have you heard of Alexstrasza? Also, it sounds like you're raging about something you often lose to. Saying that Warriors are armor hoarding is like calling Priest a healing whore, or pally a token spammer. You expect players to not use thier hero power? Breaking news: outliving your opponent is a valid win condition! And every mana they spend developing armor, is mana NOT spent on killing you or your minions. If you think that a class trying to win by playing defensively is BS, then you're prolly ignorant (sorry that's just the way it is). Need I remind you that old-school control warrior is mostly dead in this meta, even with 20+ armor at times? So do we need anti card draw cards because handlocks are hoarding cards? Or mana limiters because ramp druids are hoarding mana crystals? Don't be silly.

Make my Day even more.. I am just speaking about the armor hoarding i have nothign against the Hero Power or the healing etc etc. So far i find the Overload and the Armor mechanic 2 of the mechanics that need to be either countered or Balanced.. Just the fact you dont agree with me doesn't mean you should think i am a Sore Loser..
Cause if we get into this kind of discussion should i suppose that you are playing Either Handlock or Zoolock since it's your favorite Class? Stop assuming things for people and give some constructed feedback...
Personally I think its a stupid mechanic and a very broken game play mechanic. It creates a weird arms race where something doesnt need to be. If you can't see past why this isn't a good idea for game play reasons then it is a good thing you aren't a card game designer.
Doing damage lowers armor, i don't see the problem.
Infact I wish some minions were able to get armor.

Actually never played zoo lock, as as much as I like Warlock I'm using Shaman in Ranked. Though I used to main a face aggro Warlock.
Before you demand for constuctive feedback, how about you make a constructive post? My post was sarcastic and mimicing your posts where you called people who didn't agree with you ignorant.
Tell me how this is unfair? Let's compare Shield Block to Holy Light. The armor is less efficient than the heal, but can be used any time. Balanced. Now if you're talking about armorsmith, it requires setup and a combo with whirlwind to get useful amount of armor. Which unlike Paladin and Priest, require more cards and for you to hurt you own minions.
Control Warrior is a slow deck, that wins by keeping out of lethal, controlling the early board, and then dumping big threats until they win. You have done NOTHING to show that this is unbalanced, and only indicate that you don't enjoy playing against it.
But silly me, I shoulda taken you seriously when right of the bat you call anyone who disagrees with you ignorant. That's just begging for constructive feedback!

So any thoughts on that matter?
I don't think they will add something like this, It directly counters 2 of the Hero powers and tons of cards.
That destroys the whole point of armor. I don't play warrior or any class with armor unless it's for a quest but I don't think this is necessary.

No No No No and no....Whats the next suggestion, making healing impossbile..?

um...isn't fatigue "true damage"?
