Lads, really, discussing an emote and its impact in the game...like, for serious, people is gonna spam any emote and other people is gonna take it as whatever they want.

Emotes are great, and a very nice touch that let you to interact with your opponent in different ways without needing a chat, and that is a very good thing. But the truth is that I would love this game to become even more social oriented, although that is probably never going to happen because of all this cry babies...

Do not get me wrong, I love emotes, or maybe I'm getting you wrong. Anyway, I just think that people is always gonna whine about any emote, because "the thanks of the Hunter is by far more insulting than the Paladin's greeting emote". Wtf really, they are emotes and they are intended to express what the emote says, if people take it in any other direction they should go to a shrink.
I wish they'd just add chat between players in matches, with the ability to squelch someones chat.
Recently I played a guy that was clearly trying to annoy me into quitting. He was obviously doing the standard 5 pack quest. Game started and he immediately just started emoting. I squelched him and he then proceeded to take EVERY single turn to literally the very end of the rope. If we had chat I would have at least been able to say to him, "look man its not going to work, I'm not quitting." It was an annoying match but very satisfying to win after the nightmare he/she was.
If they have some real problems, emoting in a card game should not be on top of their list of priorities. So, they are right. People who complain about emotes are either young, or they are older, but immature. Learning how to stay calm is something that one can learn, with some effort. It's definitely worth it.
So again: Tell me why it is better to be complaining about people complaing and taking their opinions from them than posting an opinion about something in the game on a forum? Don't YOU guys have bigger problems than that? If you want to belittle any opinion not shared by yourself why even post in a goddamn forum? Grow up and learn to handle other people's opinion's, I'd say.
I am not complaining at all. I am offering feedback (which is why people post on the forums) and giving advice. I'd like to help people who get easily upset over nothing, so they can overcome this problem. I am not trying to belittle anyone, I respect their opinion.
I think Blizz wanted to promote BMing with the new "wow" emote. All of them sound sarcastic...
I don't bm and when I get BMed or get "threaten" I just say "Thank You". I do GM (good manner) since at least they are enjoying the game. I counter the salt with some sugar haha.

Ah, yeah, that's what I thought. You're one of those players that need the interaction to taunt your opponents like people that flame the enemy team in LoL or DotA. Really good to know, now that's what the whole argument was actually about! Could have said so earlier, wouldn't have taken you for serious from the beginning then.
No, I just want to interact with my opponents in a similar way that I used to do in real life when playing Magic: The Gathering or the WOW TCG with people I didn't know. Why do you always have to be so negative?
There are times where I would like to say sorry if I have a disconnect or think I ended my turn when I didn't. If there's something holding up gameplay that I don't intend, I like people to know that I'm not some jerk that likes to rope people.
That being said, I have no problems with tossing out a sarcastic wow if I ever play someone who kills themselves with Yogg.
I think emotes should just be removed from HS In general, I accidentally punched my monitor so hard I broke it and had to get a new one, after a bad HS Game where the asshole paladin finished off with a 'farewell' emote... this game is just designed to make you salty and angry and I feel like the Twitch and Youtube scene confirms it, I mean name one HS Online Player who does not get mad when things go bad for them due to RNG?

No, emotes are fine, but people like you with very low self control are not.
I'm not a kid- I'm 32. I got through a deployment in Iraq, I can deal with some dude's emotes. :)
Seems to be quite the contrary since you're so arrogant to think anyone who is annoyed by something that you don't care about is just a kid and can't handle it. There's a difference between not being able to handle something and wanting something to be different that they just don't like.
Wait, what? I was just saying that emotes don't put me on some kind of rage-quit tilt during the games...something a "kid" might do. What, getting so angry at a game isn't childish? Please.
No one here is "so angry", I don't know where you get that from. To imply that someone is a kid just because he writes in a forum (that is made for posting opinions) that he does not like it, isn't childish? Please.
Don't mind me. Just Making the biggest quoting chain ever.
It's pretty lame if you can't deal with an emote - and by that i mean get even mildly irritated. It's because of you we can't have nice things like a 'sorry' emote, which was actually useful. If someone is spamming just squelch. If you can't take a little 'Amazing.." as you take fireball to the face for lethal you have issues that should deal with without turning our games into joyless vacuums.

I long to play a game where the mods ban players who complain about anything short of a threat of violence.
People need to grow thicker skin.

Auto-squelch / no emotes in options menu.
What's that you say? They removed the "sorry" emote? BY THE HOLY LIGHT!

Another bitchy emote thread? Astounding!
