Ok so ive been avoiding asking this question for a long time but its just burning to deep now...IS EU SOFTER / EASIER COMPETITION? I live in the US, so naturally i dumped all my time and $$$ into a card base on a US account. Got some decent cards, made some decks, tried the ladder, didnt do so great, so i decided to L2P cause i wanted to have fun, and to do that, you have to WIN, but competition is so cuththroat it just makes me sick sometimes.
NEWAYS, thats when i made my way to youtube, learned of streamers, and found TRUMP, after watching his F2P series i decided to test the EU server and try F2P decks as well, just for funsies....what i discovered is i can get a higher rank on the ladder with crap cards on the EU than i can with a decent deck on the US. Regardless of my "skill" the fact of the matter is IC a HUGE difference in opponent difficulty in US vs EU, hence why i say it cant be just me, sometimes i wish i could just migrate my entire card collection to the other server, like transfering a WoW character from 1 server to another. Would be nice 2 see but i know it'll never happen, sucks...
P.S. I dont know where i was really going with this aside from asking the obvious title question, guess i just wanted to rant a bit...sorry it you felt forced to read Mt. St. Txt Wall :P
P.S.S I'm alot better at the game now thnx to TRUMP his videos and valuetown :D oh and this site and its AMAZing decks!!!
Judging by the US streamers getting US legend much quicker then they do on EU with their EU accounts, I think you got it backwards but this is a impossible question with no definite answer just opinions, but I'm guessing this is why you made this question ;)

Don't kill me if I'm wrong, but I seem to remember people like Gaara getting legend extremely quickly every month while US streamers take much longer. My guess is that EU is easier than US but then again I don't play EU, maybe I should try it myself and see.
There is no big skill difference between US/EU non professional players. Sometimes it may seem like it because of meta shifts (one region can react slower or differently).Lot of people are saying that asian servers are the easiest (personally never played there), which is kind of weird because they are usually the best. Who knows, maybe its all backwards in hs :D
Pro players in US were always a bit behind skill wise in other esport games. Its hard to say in HS tho. Its not like in starcraft when you just know who sucks and who don't, there is a lot of rng and tournaments can often times go either way. Although americans are the most popular streamers / community personalities (Trump, Kripp...) without a doubt.
But I am sure about one thing. Eu servers are down most often! :D (not lately, but... you know)
It may also have something to do with timing (i.e. quality of players online when you play EU)
I've definitely found a big difference in strength of opposition by time of day. I'm in Australia and play on US region, when I play at lunchtime (US evening) I find it much easier than when I play in my evening (late, late night US time). I often win several in a row at lunch and then lose five straight in the evening.
There is no difference. I've played a f2p deck (well, with a couple of legendaries I've gotten) to rank 6 on the US and I had my Ramp Druid up to rank 2 on EU until I decided I want to farm gold at rank 20.
One region may represent more of one deck than the other, for example, EU is just plagued with Zoo decks, while I do not find as many on the US. However, on the US servers, it seems that everyone and their mother is playing a Miracle or Malygos Rogue.
It depends on the time of day you play. It's really easy to rank on NA at some times, it's really easy to rank on EU at some times.
6 PM in Los Angeles means 9 PM in New York City, 2 AM in London, 3 AM in Rome. So if you're just sitting down to play after work in LA on EU server, you're playing mostly . . . players that are up at that time.
Every server has changes in meta and difficulty depending on time of day/night.

If you find my posts to be rude, objectionable, or whatever, well, I got tired of writing polite TL; DR (Too Long, Didn't Read) posts at crybaby whiners. So now I just make it short and nasty.
If you find that funny, well and good. If you find that sad, that's even better.
If you're from North America and playing on the EU servers, chances are on the time you're playing the game, most if not all of the decent players/grinders are sleeping.
I have found all forms of online gaming revolve around "timing". When people are at work, when people are at school, when people are sleeping, and what Time Zone a person is in can affect a persons win/loss record.
For instance, when I used to play online poker before it was outlawed. I always made more money playing on European severs during their work and school times Don't know why. I just did. Just like it was always harder to get an American group going in the original Guild Wars if it was during those school/work hours here in the States. After work and school though? There was just group after group after group.
So I wouldn't say the competition is softer as a whole. It just might be a case of all the better players being busy IRL.
P.S.- Here it is Saturday, and my wins are coming much tougher for me. Might have to do with all the free time the other players have on the weekend, amirite?
Since we can all play on both now, youcould be playing NA players on EU and vice versa. OP seems to think, it seems that all NA players, or all EU players share the same mind set, or style or IQ or whatever.
Saw Reynad play on EU many times, and he reckons it's a lot harder than NA, if that's anything to go by.

So there may well be truth in your theory.
I think the meta could be a little more different on each server and it might be easier to adapt to on EU than NA

I think it has something to do time zones.

I am a Hearthstone Noob
Well for me is opposite, NA server was easier than EU, but i didnt play ranked on NA only arena so i cant talk about ranked really.
