Welcome to HearthPwn's Class Design Competition!
Phase III - POLL TOPIC
For those of you that are just joining us, we Fan Creation Forum moderators are putting on a Hearthstone fan design competition like no other, where users vie for the title of Class Design Champion.
During Phase I, the competition was entirely open, and users were able to submit their proposals for brand new Hearthstone Classes, along with unique Hero Powers and example class cards to show us what their proposed classes had to offer. Regular HearthPwn users like you voted on which proposals they wanted to see more from, and from over 120 entries, an amazing 38 competitors were granted the opportunity to advance to Phase II, where they crafted their classes' 10-card Basic Sets. Seeing more of what these classes had to offer at their most basic levels, HearthPwn users again voted on their favorites, and thus 12 competitors advanced to Phase III.
Since then, our remaining competitors have been hard at word crafting the 15-card Classic Sets for their new Hero Classes. Considering they've had less than a week since the end of Phase II, it's been quite a challenge not only crafting and balancing individual cards but also looking at the bigger picture of how these individual cards come together into a cohesive, functional whole. Each remaining custom Class is presented here, represented by their Hero and by five example cards from the class's Classic Set.
The top four (4) classes, as determined by this poll, will advance to Phase IV of the competition, the Final Phase where competitors will expand upon their classes with Naxxramas, Goblins Versus Gnome, and Blackrock Mountain cards to determine the overall winner of the competition.
For more info on each Class (including Hero Power, Basic Set, and the rest of their Classic Set),
click on their Hero Portrait, which will link you to their Phase III submission post.
Important Note: Because of the sheer volume and density of the material here, we want to give you more time to thoroughly look over all of the entries that pique your interest, so that you don't feel rushed and can feel confident that you're making better-informed decisions. Therefore, this Phase of the competition will have a 48-hour Poll Topic rather than a 24-hour one normal for Fan Creation Forum competitions.
That means this Poll ends Thursday, July 16th, at 19:00 UTC.
So, take your time, vote for your favorites, and share your thoughts in the comments!

I'm devastated that Kingslayer did not make it to finishing up his expert set, was really looking forward to his additions, just as everyone elses really. But I did have that soft spot for him, us sharing a protagonist and all.
I will probably do the review of the finalists after my stream tomorrow when a couple of votes will have flooded in here. Look forward to it, or don't, I do it cuz I enjoy it.
I agree. My submission suffered greatly from me travelling this week and not having any time or internet connection at all. It was all kinda last minute. This is as far as I go. I wish you all the best of luck guys.
I am a servant of the world. And if I'm a servant, then you should consider yourself a tool, at best.
Very excited to read through all of these entries! I wish I could've been there in the discussion thread, but alas, I was away all last week. Can't wait to see what everyone has come up with.
You can find me here! Good luck everyone!
Very close poll so far. Exciting.
A couple of questions for folks:
PupleMD: Does your submission post say anywhere what Raid does? I know what it does, of course, but I'm worried it not being in your submission post may negatively affect your entry. Or am I just missing it?
carminacore: Has the definition of Salary changed? I thought before it said that you didn't have to pay Salary the same turn that a minion was summoned, but now is seems to say that you have to pay salary immediately. Or by "at once" did you mean "all at the same time" rather than "immediately"?
Oh I didn't... Any way to fix that?
I hope I don't take too much flack for this, but I edited in your explanation from your proposal in a block-quote.
Alright, thanks a lot :) totally just flew over my head to explain it
Is everyone tired now after making so many cards? :P
You think their tired now? Wait till they must find artwork for Mechs. I think it will become the main hurdle of the 4th phase. Mainly because most Mech artwork was made specifically for GvG. So let's hope some fan artists will support this competition.
Give a man a Murloc, and he'll eat for a day.
Give him a Murloc Knight, and people will hate him.
Deviantart.com is probably a good place to search. They had a competition together with Blizzard so many GvG-related pictures were made. However several classes will probably have problems integrating a mech into their class. Merchant and Trade Prince can do it easily, Warden could probably do it but the rest? Hmmm...
Eh... The 'death' related classes at least have the Meat Wagon, so there's one.

Is there any art for that though? Someone made a Meat Wagon but had to use an in-game pic.
I can't believe how close it is turning out to be. Real interesting.
Well, there is fan art of a Mo'arg (which is basically a cyborg-demon). Maybe they can choose to make a minimum of Mechs (one) and make another minion that has Mech synergy. Could make up for it, I guess.

Looks like we are already tumbling towards the four finalists, with Merchant in the Lead and Apothecary, Lich 1, and Trade Prince in a tie.

There is quite some OK Mech Art when you search for 'Steampunk Robots' and its iterations. If you're lucky they even have a similar style to Warcraft. I already got me a Robot Pirate, arrggh--beep beep!
I hope Kingslayer will still finish his class and post it.
I personally don't like the Pirate class presented this competition. It just lacks in WoW flavor and art-style.
And while I support Apothecary, I'm still incredibly confused on blight.
Cards I want in the final: Merchant, Lich 1, Trade Prince.

Why was the 200px "rule" enforced on me so harshly, yet the other finalists seems to get to ignore it? I'm confused.
I think it won't be a problem to find a mech artwork. It doesn't has to be something too specific. I mean look at Mage's mech card or warrior's.
