Is the idea cool? Yes. It's simple, it's easily understandable. It has a low complexity cost to put on a card, and there is a lot of design space behind the mechanic. There are a great many cards that can be designed from the mechanic. Actually, it's such a simple and intuitive mechanic that it probably deserves its own keyword. Block: 1, perhaps? A 4 mana 4/4 Block 1?
As for this one, though? It feels a bit over the top from an Arena perspective. Even if your opponent can kill it in one hit it's a Chillwind Yeti, and if your opponent can't, it can take tons of damage before giving up the fight. Turn 4 is just one turn too early for your opponent to respond to a nasty card like this by swarming face, leaving the opponent of this card with little hope if their board state is countered by the armor effect. It's too high a reward for too little a risk, especially for a neutral common.
What do you think?
I like to make cards and discuss game balance.
I enjoy when "No similar decks were found."

"Ignores X damage" is a cool idea that could be added in game.
