This is my first post in this forum. It seems much more constructive and less troll infested than the official forums.
Anyway here is my question. I did a noob thing I had enough dust to craft a legendary and somehow (I blame the whiskey) I decided that King Mukla was a good choice. I now realize this was a colossally bad decision. What I am looking for are some suggestions of good uses for Mukla. I wasted the dust on him and I need to find a way to use him without the bananas biting me in the a**.
I think Mukla is ok, actually, I think he is fairly under-rated. I think he is a fine card to include in a tempo deck like various early-mid game rogues, and if you manage to play him on an empty board he is damn hard to deal with.

the best deck to put king mukla in is a heavy control deck.
the way to think about him is that hes great value in terms of stats for low mana cost, but his downside is that he does give buffing spells. but buffing spells only work if the enemy has minions to buff up and on an empty board that just wont be possible.
I would say the best is in a mage, druid, or shaman control deck. if you can make a hunter control deck then this would synergize very well with beast themed minions.
another future possible idea is a card burning deck, this is where you fill up your opponents hand to the point that they're burning their cards while you fill up their hand with unwanted cards while you kill off their minions so they have nothing to use those cards on. but currently there arent many cards to use for this style of deck, though with future expansions who knows it might be possible.
The problem with him is that you can only play him on an empty board. Usually rogues and aggressive warlock decks are the best at controlling the board early, so that's where you should try him out first.

I'm so glad there is prejudice against playing hunter/zoo/[insert FotM deck here]. People like that make the life so much easier for those of us who play to win.

I'm sorry but that is entirely wrong. Because spells are class specific and no class has enough removal spells to remove every single of your opponent minions there is no such control deck in Hearthstone.

you HAVE to play Mukla on an empty board ideally. this means they have to play minions that cost mana, and wont be able to afford the bananas (assuming thisis early game, which is the best time to put him out there).
If they throw out say, an earthen ring farseer on 3 because its their only 3 drop and they are intimidated by your mukla, or they throw out a 2-drop and 1 banana on it, mukla can trade with it and still have 1 or 2 life left. Even if they hero ability mukla (assuming you dont heal or buff him more) and kill him, that would be half a turn wasted, meaning Mukla gave you tempo.
Also notably playing mukla against a faerie dragon is fine too. They cant even use the bananas.
I kinda disenchanted my king Mukla yesterday. After all he is worth 4 rares. I did not like him very much. He depends too much on getting at the right time, which is turn 3 almost every time.
Hello All,

Any King Mukkla advice is appreciated.

Thank You to everyone for the Mukla tips. I am going to try a few of these out this weekend. I am now slightly less depressed about my poor decision.
