I just want to make sure that my thinking is right. If I Faceless Manipulator a minion with Battlecry, Faceless Manipulator doesn't get to trigger that Battlecry right? Since that new minion (Manipulator) wasn't played from the Hand, but Transformed while in Play?
"Triggered immediately when the card enters play from your hand and before any other effects (including resolving any enemy secrets). Battlecries do not trigger for minions that are summoned by means other than playing a card from your hand. For example, if a player plays a Faceless Manipulator that copies a Novice Engineer, the player does not get to draw a card from the newly summoned Novice Engineer’s Battlecry."
Magic the Gathering's equivalent of "Battlecry" is basically ruining the game it is so overpowered and abused. I am really glad how limited it is in Hearthstone. One question I have since Hearthstone being completely digital has allowed them to have some interesting mechanics, if a Faceless Manipulator is returned to your hand via something like Youthful Brewmaster do you get a Faceless Manipulator in your hand, or do you get what it was copying in your hand?

You get the copy, the faceless manipulator transforms into the minion so returning it to ur hand is like returning a sheeped or hexed target to your hand.
The faceless manipulator's copying power provides a relatively low cost option to get high cost cards, and also provides a target for the card your copying. If your opponent summons a giant or legendary that you cannot get rid of copy it, and force him to deal with yours as well
Faceless takes snapshot stats and coppies the effects. If it copies a 10/10 Frostwolf Warlord it will become a 10/10 frostwolf Warlord who will then have his ability kick in giving it extra +1/+1 for your minions. if it copies a 3/2 silenced but ancestral spirited senjin then it will become a 3/2 silenced senjin with ancestral spirit.
One thing i do wonder, could it copy a bloodlusted card and have infinite bloodlust? similar to a warlock +4/+4 card combo with void terror?
Very peculiar indeed. My gut tells me it would but maybe with bloodlust and power overwhelming it also copiies the lingering affects of the cards. Meaning it might get bloodlust dmg but revert back at the end of turn, or die in power overwhelmings case. But it could just as easly have the stats perminently.
dang nice, shame i can only do it reliably with 10mana D:
Yes, but you can do it with before 10 mana with Pint-Sized Summoner and Far Sight. And Bloodlust only increases attack by 3, and you'll usually either winning the game or getting close to it when you use it. So if you just want to copy a buffed up minion as a shaman you can use Rockbiter Weapon or as any class Abusive Sergeant

This is a Quote from the Hearthstone 101 http://www.hearthpwn.com/forums/hearthstone-general/general-discussion/371-hearthstone-101 I highly recomend to read it
Ya usless for battlecrys, But the card is strong if you want to get rid of a big enemy minion or take a good deathrattle.
If you Faceless Manipulator a Charge minion, though, you can attack with it on that turn.

just think off the card like copy and paste, whatever the card is, you will have a copy of it.

Let me change your mind

It DOES keep the Attack boosts permanently, and yes, the +4 +4 combo works too, that's why void terror decks carry 2 faceless manipulators :)

You can't target enemy stealthed minions, so no you can't copy stealthed minions (as you already thought :) ).
