But you use her only as an extra charge creature on a charge themed deck that can remove the taunts for your other direct damage as an added bonus. Even for LoA it is 1 for 1 as they got same cost. Black Knight could fit there. I'm trying to say that if you were using a deck with less charge cards you would pick something else for sure. And besides, I don't have anything against Rocketeer. I just posted on a thread about an underpowered card (Kidnapper) to stress the fact that nerfing overused cards is what people usually cry about but buffing underused cards is equally important.
Yeah, buffing underused cards is better from a fun game perspective as no one wants to see their favorite cards nerfed. It is harder to balance by buffing than it is to balance by nerfing I think. The overpowered cards are a lot easier to spot.
Nah, underpowered cards are spotted twice as easily. Browse the card library. The cards you see in there that you have NEVER seen in an actual game are the underpowered ones. Magma Rager for example, I have only seen in the tutorial and I have played at least 1000games of Hearthstone.
You fall behind in terms of using a turn, but that's an issue of tempo, you don't fall behind in terms of card advantage, it trades as a simple 1:1 BUT opens up the opponent. She's an aggressive card, if you have something on the field, anything else you have on the field will be able to get to the enemy's face. Trading 1:1 to open up your opponent to inflict damage is ideal for balls-to-the-wall rush decks, sometimes Argent fails to achieve this so you turn to Reckless Rocketeer.
I use her in a silly Shaman deck, running pairs of Argent, Rocketeer, and Fire Elemental with weapons to soak up damage and Molten Giants as a consolation to heavy weapon usage as you drop rapidly in health. I've seen a bit of decent use in Mage rush decks, but Argent Commander is probably better in those cases. Argent is one of the best cards in the game, don't get me wrong, but Rocketeer has rare cases I'd take her over Argent. One out of ten I imagine. I found better results with her in my own Warlock Zergrush deck over Argent as well.
What I mean is that it's easy to "fix the current problem" by nerfing. If everyone is a priest and are crushing with Mind Control, it's easier to nerf priests to bring them back in balance. It's much harder to buff everyone else to bring them in balance.
Yes, Magma Rager is atrocious. Maybe if it had Faerie Dragon's ability, cost 4 and had Charge, or was a 5/2 and had a Whirlwind battlecry it'd be playable.
I have tried your Zergrush deck Aishi and it is really effective. By the way I KNOW rocketeer can be good in certain conditions, I mentioned her because I've been trying to make an effective deck with her because I like it as a card. That's me, making decks around the cards I like and not decks that are 100% successful. Thus why I am spending my dust on that shadow deck I posted instead of something that will win me games xD. But if you compare with a really good card (not argent because well its argent) Kor' kron, 4/3 for 4 versus 5/2 for 6... Yeah attack is more important stat especially on charge but you do see the problem there right? Cost is really important on direct damage too because speed is also super important.
I'd like to clarify that I never said reckless rocketeer was underpowered. I think it has a great place in some rush decks. I run it in my mage. What I did say is that is is almost always worse than argent commander. I think that argent commander is the strongest neutral card in the entire game, including legendaries.

Man do I wish I had The Black Knight for that deck.
Also, I agree with you that I would pick a lot of other charge guys over Reckless Rocketeer in Arena.

By the way Kidnapper is sad because Rocketeer kidnapped his thread xD My fault I guess.
