Has anyone else tried to activate The Demon Seed with Blood Treant? I don't know if this is a bug, or if it doesn't qualify as "damage" since Blood Treant states "cost". At first I thought it was maybe a glitch, but when I tried it to fulfill the quest and after dropping Blightborn Tamsin and it just beat the hell out of my health... this I think needs to be addressed.
A change made during Festival of Legends launch changed how cards which cost Health instead of Mana interact. Namely:
The lost Health is no longer considered "Damage," meaning it does not trigger effects based upon dealing damage. This includes The Demon Seed.
Health as Cost ignores things such as Immune or damage reduction effects. If it costs 5 Health to play, you have to pay 5 health to play it - no way around it.
So yes, this is intended behavior, and you should consider cutting Blood Treant from your Questline Warlock, unless you like taking 5 to not progress your Quest.
