Slightly salty post, but also because the mechanic doesn't make sense to me. Died from 80+ health because a Xyrella the Devout triggered something like 8 or 9 shellfish deathrattles despite only 1 actually going off during the match. I don't mind mill strategies and often find them quite fun, but it seems ridiculous that Xyrella would trigger deathrattles that never happened. I understand that it triggers the deathrattles of friendly deathrattle minions that died (doesn't specify that the deathrattle had to trigger in the first place), but it just feels like an odd design and not entirely intuitive at first.
Anyway, might just be me getting surprised by a mechanic that upon further scrutiny makes sense.
I don’t know what is more ludicrous, that you didn’t know how Xyrella worked or someone is actually playing shellfish priest. The battlecry for xyrella has been known for three expansions now, especially with boar priest because shellfish never really took off. Renethal is a death sentence for shellfish priest. It was always fringe good during sunken city, but Renethal gives more life to deal with the 7/7 and 5 extra shellfish triggers. It’s just not going to be viable as long as renethal is still meta. What deck were you playing that could get 80 life and die to shellfish? We’re you playing jailer?
I've seen quite a few Shelfish Priest decks in wild. Lower ranks, mind you. Between G10 and D5 I ran in to a total of 15 during my laddering this month.

I get where are you coming from, but yeah, card specifies minions dying, so there's nothing unfair in that regard.
