I was thinking of a making a meme deck and i wanted to make da undatakah paladin with recurring villain but i have a question. if it shuffles itself into your deck due to immortal prelate does the recurring villain deathrattle trigger?
I'm guessing what will happen is Da Undatakah will shuffle back into your deck with a copy of "Deathrattle: Shuffle this into your deck. It keeps any enchantments," then a copy of Da Undatakah will resummon as a text-less 8/5. When you play the shuffled Da Undatakah again, it will have the Immortal Prelate's deathrattle still, in addition to adding three from the deathrattle pool.

Correct, resummon typically means "copy of", and Da Undatakah's effect is a Battlecry, which only happens when played from hand.

I've already been playing an "Immortal Undatakah" for fun, but I didn't even think about Recurring Villain! I've been using things like Mechano-Egg with Prelate! The new spell Lightforged Blessing helps make the deck a bit more competitive, but it still plays too slow to a lot of the aggressive decks like Zoo decks, Token Druid, etc.
But if you are in a match where you can outlast your opponent, get Lifesteal on Prelate and 'Takah with the Blessing, it has the potential to snowball. If you magnetic things like Annoy-o-Module onto an Egg as well, and have Kangor's Endless Army you could really overwhelm your opponent in the late game.

If it were a copy of it would keep the effect because copys keep all enchantments. "Resummon" is closer to the new saronite chain gang.
Did you get the answer? I want to make the same meme
