The problem with this card is that it still only trades with Belcher (the slime token takes him out). We need like a 6 mana 5/6 taunt to take out Belchers.
Then you'll need a 7 mana 6/7 to take out the improved Belchers!
I think he could be really good with a recombobulator. You could just kill something, pop his divine shield and transform the 4/2 into a decent 6-drop.

Way too weak for being an 8-mana combo. Shrinkmeister + Cabal gives you three minions AND "kills" a minion of your opponent and both cards are already pretty decent on their own, and even that isn't used often.

Power creep yay! :D
There's already a 6 mana 6/7...anything that makes Boulderfist Ogre more playable is good in my opinion lol.
I meant a belcher 6/7 (so a taunt + mini taunt post mortem) :p
It is now February 2015. Can confirm, no Argent Commanders to be found anywhere.
Rip to our old friend.
There is just too few things that it kills for it cost.
It's still a great card... just not relevant with the Belcherino being run my nearly every midrange/control decks.
Used to be a proud Handlock player.
Legend 17 times.
Still flirting with the ladder from times to times with Renolock.
You see it often in arena, but ranked - hardly ever. Used to be such a good card.
I did get blitzed by Arcane golem/power overwhelming x2 + faceless recently though. Totally unexpected that combo, not seen it in months.
Sunwalker has also started to make a comeback. Can be stickier to remove than Belcher Vs aggro
