If I have to express my own opinion, then I would choose to make this card with a choose one mechanic. Something, which has been suggested in these forums before.
"Ultimate infestation, 10 mana, Choose one: Deal 5 damage and Summon a 5/5 Ghoul or Gain 5 Health and Draw 5 cards."
That way we keep the card as we know it, but tune it down a bit. And if someone doesn't accept using all of their mana for drawing, then I would only point to this card - Lay on Hands. And tbh I think making UI a choose one card won't really kill it, as it will only make it less multifunctional, but still flexible enough.
This. Let's change a bunch of other cards and hope that it will affect the totally broken one, rather than changing the totally broken one.
I've been playing wild this season, and these nerfs will have almost no effect on the giant druid deck that auto-wins if it makes to turn 10 (no bumping spreading plague by 1 will not help)

Yes, UI was certainly the strongest among the most debated trio(Plague-Innervate-UI).

Quartet. Jade Idol is the focus of much anger around here.

Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.
UI is not the only problem, the nerfs weren't enough, but I did not expect any nerf to UI. I did expect a nerf to nourish though, because nourish mana was always pretty bad, but then UI alone made it the better choice in every game. If they nerfed Nourish then I think UI would be almost balanced. And along with the innervate and spreading plague nerf jade would probably actually have to compete for wins. Instead of having a higher winrate than any other deck in the history of Hearthstone.

Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?

The reason for the upcoming (according to me) is because it will change the game progression in the future for the better. Because of the nerf on innervate, they can make better 8-cost cards in the next expansion, because you can't play it on turn 3. Spreading Plague was recently released and played in aggro/midrange/jade druid. It's an incredibly powerful card and therefore deserves the nerf. UI is also a powerful card, but because they are nerfing innervate it will definitely lose its power. UI on turn 8/10 will be more capable of dealing with. And Blizzard doesn't want to destroy a deck like Giant Druid, because every deck has its strengths and weaknesses.
What exactly is the weakness of a deck that easily plays a 5/5 and 4 8/8's on turn 4?
this situation remembers me, som years ago, the MTG policy nerfing the necropòtence deck ( black summer) They nerf, ban o restric almost every card of the deck, but the swamps and is dificult to nerf a basis land, instead of ban, nerf o limit necropotence. Dark ritual was rotated by that cause. Necropotence continue strong till it itself rotates...
At this point, I'm starting to worry less about the card itself, and more that the negative sentiment surrounding it may be getting out of control. I've been in situations where players in ranked mode concede when I play this card, even when they still have a chance at winning.
And before you say "You don't have a chance of winning once your opponent plays this card against you," I say that attitude is not something I usually see out of ranked players. Though a big part of me is pleased that playing this card causes such intense psychological damage to my opponents on top of its already powerful effects, I feel like some of the people playing against me are letting me off too easy.

Please explain how druid plays 4 8/8s and UI on turn 4, I'm intrigued.
Never said UI, just a 5/5 and 4 8/8s. Clearly you have not played against the new Giant Druid after the stealthy patch to Naga Sea Witch a couple weeks ago. You said every Druid deck has weaknesses...

It needs to be a legendary card, way to op for arena in its current state.
