Btw. Imagine that tempo swing, when your opponent has full board of tokens and you use Cult Apothecary + Shadowflame. +1 attack is quite relevant in that case.
Wow. That tempo swing and ONLY 9 MANA?!?!?!?
what happens next turn when villain fills up the board again? you just keep doing this combo?
Healbot + Shadowflame is not an uncommon play. Sometimes you even need Power Overwhelming to get the job done. Wow that's 10 mana. I guess you might as well concede.

You could say the same thing aboutMolten Giant + Shadowflame. Wow, you just burnt a free 8/8? Concede.
Lol, some people honestly. Would you prefer to spend a turn clearing a board and healing? Or taunt up and remove one minion, just to have it silenced then get rushed face again? At least with option 1, your opponent can only play so many charges/spells/hero power the next turn either due to a mana, or card disadvantage. With option 2, your opponent can still do X amount of damage to your remaining Y amount of health.
This specific combo wouldn't win you the game, or lose you the game either (okay, maybe, but you would've lost anyways). Against aggro a 4dmg board clear is huge. Against Control a 4dmg board clear is okay. The worst thing with this combo is the 9 mana cost, which prevents something like Dark Peddler, Darkbomb, orAncient Watcher [/card]from being played without a tick of [card]Emperor Thaurissan.
I actually like this card, but since I mostly play zoolock, priest, and shaman (healing wave ftw!) lately, I'll probably use it in less then 1/50th of my matches.

Very powerful for Freeze mage, They don't care about enemy board presence so they can let their opponent build up a big board, Cash in some big heals (10-14 optimistically) then play a frost nova to hold them off before a Flamestrike or Blizzard. On the flip side, this card is useless against Freeze Mage since they don't play any minions.
This card isn't meant to save your bacon when your opponent has a bunch of minions and you have nothing. How many 5-mana neutral minions could ever do that? Antique Healbot sure won't. Even Sludge Belcher would just get pummeled and leave you in the same situation on your next turn.
This is a card you use when both players have minions, before you start trading on your turn. It's really not that uncommon a situation.
This. It makes this card so much more interesting (although narrower) than Antique Healbot - it punishes players who go all in for the face when you're the one playing for value. The bot was mostly a control / stall / combo card, this one is more of a midrange tech card against flood / face decks.

So we're trading an all-around consisten heal for an extremely inconsistent heal that's only really good against flood/face decks (which is not even zoo).

Sounds bad to me.
Oh I agree - this is quite a bit weaker. I'm simply arguing that this is not a direct replacement to Antique Healbot, as it slots in more comfortably in different kinds of deck, versus different kinds of opponents. This does not make it a bad card, though - just a more techy one.
In my opinion this card is better than Antique Healbot, Its going to present useful against aggro decks (stupid decks) and will stop easy countering decks like freeze mage
Interesting replacement for healbot but i think it won't find a way against control decks. In standard i think it will be many many control decks soo i think it won't see play.
It's sad that this is the only neutral healing card in the set. They also didn't release many great board clears. They gave us 1 damage clears, the priest card, and the warlock destroy all card. So zoo decks might be pretty good
Against Aggro Shaman specifically, it seems pretty weak. Aggro Shaman generally loses most of its board presence in the mid-game and finishes with Doomhammer and spells. I suppose you can intentionally leave some enemy minions up to get more value out of this, but that seems like a very risky play.

This guy is suitable to every non-tempo control. freeze mage would be one of the best partner (if it still exits in standerd).
this will probably be the nerfed heal bot sub of this format if no one plays refreshment vendor....
I'm not as concerned with how MUCH it heals but rather how. 5 minions is 10 healing. If it just gives me 10 health than whatever. That's fine I guess.
But if it heals me 2hp, 5 times(even if it's hidden) that's that's much handier for priest minions that buff from heals
This card will probably be seen with Reno Warrior
Slightly Worse Antique Healbot

Wrecks priest aggro? lol

Hi guys,
Do you know if this card does the healing in one go or 2 by 2?
If it's not in one go then maybe it would be a good potential for the Holy Champion. Right?
