Just jotting down some informative numbers around pre ordering the new expansion noting the new currency changes. (Rounded up 99c)
$50 USD = 73.34 NZD (First results of googled currency exchange as of 19th Nov 2017)
$50 USD or $80 NZD = Kobolds and Catacombs (Post Currency Update PC prices)
$75 NZD = Kobolds and Catacombs (IOS prices before and after the Battlenet currency update)
Conclusion for NZ players = Preorder, Packs and Heros are cheaper on IOS compared to the PC prices. I'm unsure how Canada and Japan were affected but it's something to consider. Save that extra $5 and get some Fish & Chips =D
As a person who played mostly quest mage this season the best tip is to focus on damage. Don't bother clearing my useless 2/3's and 2/6's (unless it allows me to setup a good blizzard clear) and don't armour up as druid. Armour does nothing against exodia combo.
100% winrate against Priest and 80% winrate vs Druid. Which made up 53% of the ladder for me. Had a 80% winrate in the mirror so I must be doing something right.
I agree that people shit on aggro too much and give control too much credit.
The main issue I have is that you can do super well with aggro even if you suck at the game. Sometimes you just play on curve and win for drawing a good hand. I see all these fucking awful players who trade incorrectly, miss lethal, don't play around anything, incorrect ordering etc, get to to high ranks. Bugs me.
A better way of putting it is that aggro is easy to pick up, unlike control but both take a lot of skill to master.

Well since you don't have a lot of cards you're going to have to commit to a deck/class.
Look at some of the higher rated decks on this website and find the cheaper ones. For example Mindrange Hunter. Keep those cards, they are really good despite not all of them seeing a lot of play right now.

Never care about my rank but it is nice to reach 5 for the loot.

I think Nerubian Unraveler is a solid counter card which unlike Eater of Secrets has value in other matchups. Add Crazed Alchemist to that list too.

Yes! I crafted the quest and no regrets.
Provided you know what you're doing I climbed from rank 12-5 with 75% winrate.

Quest mage did the job for me.

75% winrate from rank 12-5. Bad starting hands and smart aggro players beat ya.
Swapped Acolyte of Pain for Shimmering Tempest because Acolyte is a dead card if you have a full hand. Risk of milling is high.

I'm quite strict with what I craft so I don't waste any dust.
On expansion day I'm usually able to craft 2-3 decks I want. then over time slowly get the rest.

Youthful Brewmaster is cute but clutters your hand.

When I'm on I'd be happy to help. I'm on the NA server.

I really like Tinkmaster Overspark totally try him some more.

I get ladder anxiety even with a 100% winrate.
Really depends on my mood and if I want to play more.
