So after a mediocre Arena run today I got a pack, opened it and inside were 2 rares and Nat Pagle. Took me 5 seconds before I realized the card was golden too!
However after initial excitement, I started to think: Do I really need this? Where would I play him? I could DE him and make another legendary...
I don't care much for gold cards, I'm a longtime MTG player and was never a foil collector. On the other hand I realize Nat is a very useful card. So please help me with advice, in which decks could I play Nat and is it worth to DE the golden version?
Oh and...
My legendary situation: already have Alex (opened), Mukla (opened) and Raggy (crafted)
My deck situation: playing Warlock Zoo (have everything except Leeroy), also playing Druid Ramp (still in development, missing a lot of cards, namely Cairne, one of each Ancient, Faceless...). With combination of Warlock and Druid reached rank 11 last season. I did enjoy playing druid more though.
If you think at any point in time you might actually want to achieve a full collection of golden cards, I'd keep him! It isn't everyday you're going to unbox a golden legendary. (This is me)
Now, as far as playing goes, I definitely agree with the9tail, disenchant that sucker and craft an annoying Leeroy Jenkins. The benefit of crafting Leeroy over other cards is that he's used in most decks you'll see right now, and if Blizzard does decide that he needs the nerf bat, it would probably be sooner rather than later which means you can disenchant him and grab another card.
I don't think the chance of Leeroy change is high though, although you'd definitely think the opposite with the amount of QQ you see on forums! Don't expect to use him temporarily, you're in it for the long run.
tl;dr: Craft Leeroy. Many whelps. Handle it.

First, this is not a brag but a serious question.

Get Leeroy.
It can be useful in practically any deck and is used in many.
Nat went down the toilet after the nerf.
Nozdormu wins you every game where you opponent has to go to the bathroom on turn 9.
