As the title states, I'm 11-1 with a Shaman deck right now and have been surprised by how far I've gotten. I initially drafted the deck trying to take a token/bloodlust approach after watching Shadybunny. Of course, I was never offered bloodlust and ended up with a 68.9 tier score deck which I thought might get me 5 wins (I'm not an infinite player).
I guess my question is, was I lucky with my draft or I should I be trying for this midrange style with early board presence? Any insight would be useful, because I prefer to know how I'm drafting, instead of just getting lucky. Double sea giant was obviously great in this deck. I think I managed to get it out as early as turn 3 with coin and it has probably won 2 games for me on its own. Dragonslayer killed a marsh drake turn 3 after rogue hero powered the 2/1 poisonous and that huge tempo swing probably won me another game. Other than that, nothing stood out as clear MVP. I generally just always had threats to put on board and only went top deck mode once, which ended in a win.
Here are my picks. I skipped a lot of the heartharena recommendations to go full token mode.
Not that of an arena player, but from what I have seen and know about it - in arena tempo means A LOT and your deck seems a good balance of strong early game (so many 1 drops), tempo swings and heavy hitters (sea giants, amani bear, the 7/7 charger that cant hit the face). So, overall above average deck.
Go go 12 wins :)

That's a good deck, wouldn't say a normal 12 win deck, but definitely can get there if you draw good curve starters usually, and I can see that deck easily curving 1 > 2 > 3 > 4 and soon dropping a Sea Giant.
Good job for getting that far with a Shaman without Unstable Evolution, you must've played well!

Hi all,

Congrats on achieving 12 wins!
I see some good cards there but not over the top. May be you are actually a good player! What is your Arena Average?
