As the title states, I'm 11-1 with a Shaman deck right now and have been surprised by how far I've gotten. I initially drafted the deck trying to take a token/bloodlust approach after watching Shadybunny. Of course, I was never offered bloodlust and ended up with a 68.9 tier score deck which I thought might get me 5 wins (I'm not an infinite player).
I guess my question is, was I lucky with my draft or I should I be trying for this midrange style with early board presence? Any insight would be useful, because I prefer to know how I'm drafting, instead of just getting lucky. Double sea giant was obviously great in this deck. I think I managed to get it out as early as turn 3 with coin and it has probably won 2 games for me on its own. Dragonslayer killed a marsh drake turn 3 after rogue hero powered the 2/1 poisonous and that huge tempo swing probably won me another game. Other than that, nothing stood out as clear MVP. I generally just always had threats to put on board and only went top deck mode once, which ended in a win.
Here are my picks. I skipped a lot of the heartharena recommendations to go full token mode.
I think we have had almost identical question a day or two ago and the guy had plenty of weapons same as you and was deciding between another Supercolider and Gorehowl as well. General consensus was Gorehowl, cause you can push for lethal with that and i would say the same thing here. You just have too many weapons at this point and getting mileage out of two Supercolliders would be rly tough, id rather have Gorehowl. You can still control the board with it, its Gorehowl after all, but you also have the opportunity to get some reach dmg.
About Brawl: I always feel like brawl is too hard to use properly, or rather to get a decent value nowdays, even when ppl flood the board. That being said, you do have plenty of weapons already, so it might be worth considering. But id still probably pick Gorehowl, you rly dont have many ways to push for face dmg in your deck. I think that will be your biggest problem, closing out the games. Do not get carried away by constantly clearing out enemy board, you simply do not have good minions to push for dmg, so you will have to squeeze all the dmg you can. GL
lol thank you sinti. that person that was in the almost identical situation was myself. appreciate the input from all.
Do you think I should pick a second supercollidor, a gorehowl or a brawl? Supercollidor is great - that's what heartharena says I should go for. But I'm also lacking late game threats. Do I choose gorehowl so I can also hit face for lethal? I'm going to assume brawl would be the least likely pick, since I have a couple warpaths, double woodcutter axe, fireplume and mossy for annoying things. unfortunately no execute.
Thank you. I realized that as I played... all I was doing was mostly removing threats but not presenting threats of my own consistently enough. I watched your warrior arena tutorial, which was awesome and tried to create something similar, but I still have a lot to learn.

Thank you, I picked Darius and went 8-3 with the deck. Could have done better but oh well!

What do you guys think? I have one woodcutter's axe that synergizes with Darius.
Double warpath has some synergy with King Mosh.
I'm assuming geosculpter would be the last choice. What would you guys pick? Thanks!!!
