Tier score is a mental block. I had a 9 win run with a 54 point agro style deck. Pilot > score.
Man up and play the run.
This reminds me of days before Arena ladder. When 80% of reddit and 70% of Hearthpwn had 8.0+ arena average . You good Sir must be one of them. Sorry for offtopic.
Not sure what exactly u ment by your comment, but he is correct, that HA's deck score is a total BS value and has no information value and can even put u in a bad mindset, when either u have a low deck score and think your deck is shit and u cannot win many games or when u go like 3-3 with high score deck and then rage how did that happen ... i keep tellin ppl ignore those scores, they tell u exactly nothing. Just look at what u drafted, evaluate your deck, determine your win condition and go from there. U can do well with low score deck and u can do bad with high score deck ...
Nobody said you can't do well with low score.
But stop trolling, there is a very clear difference between a low score and high score deck.
So keep telling people to ignore the score, and people will keep ignoring your advice. It's like telling people to ignore tier score in constructed. You can, but you shouldn't if you're a competitive player.
Saying it provides no information is nonsense as well, the score IS information about your deck and will (should) hugely impact the way you play the deck. The higher the score, the better the cards, the safer you play.
Didnt see your reply till now, u posted about the same time as MrPerfect01, well u can read what i wrote to him, what ur saying is exactly why i dont like ppl throwin deck scores around, so u have your response in there ;-)
It's okay that you don't like it, I understand. It's not okay to claim it's useless.
But it is useless in the end ... u say that if u have a high deck score, ur gonna play differently, that is pure BS. Ur gonna look at the deck, evaluate it and then decide how u gonna play it ... just cause u have value cards in there doesnt mean u will or can play safe as u say, deck score wont (shouldnt) be a factor in that regard. So what does it give u? Nothing much.
Definitely had way worse that this. Didn't play arena for about 6 months then decided to do an arena run. Didn't use a tracker, my curve topped out at 4 mana and most of my minions only had 1 attack.
It was weeks after my draft before I could bring myself to play the arena run. And months before I did another arena run after that...
Deck score doesn't change how you play (deck archetype does) and yes you'll have 60's where you go 12 wins and you'll have 70's where you go 0 - it happens, it's got to happen SOMETIME. That doesn't mean deck score means absolutely nothing, it's a solid indicator of the value of your deck and reasonably how many wins you can expect if you're a solid player - obviously it doesn't always work out that way but to say it's not actually information is demonstrably incorrect.
If you're getting low wins constantly despite high deck score, the problem is likely with you and vice versa, it's a solid indicator of performance OVER A LONG AVERAGE.
All of you guys saying tier score doesn't mean anything are kinda like people saying the weather report means nothing cuz every now and then the weatherman says it's going to rain, and it doesn't.
of course it's not 100% accurate, Hearthstone is a game filled with rng. Sometimes you will have a 75 points deck, which will get crushed be other top tier decks, or just have a crappy draw over and over again. Sometimes you will have a 65 points deck with excellent card synergy, or you will be matched against clowns all the way up the arena, and sometimes your opponent has crappy draws and Doomsayer out of Silvermoon Portal. But those are the exceptions. on avarage, the higher the tier score, the better the run will be.
Ok, I would love to hear your opinion on how accurate the tier score is in this case.
http://www.heartharena.com/arena-run/7q1d0l Thats a borderline constructed aggro deck that this program rates to be 68. Heartharena tier scores are very unreliable early on in the expansion. Until they acquire data from their matches their numbers are based on old version of the arena and speculation. Ill trust my own judgement, thanks. A few weeks in when they get some good numbers in, its more trustworthy imo. I noticed my win rate seriously dip to just over 3 from 5 after WoToG while consistently drafting decks with tier scores above 70. I stopped using HA and it went right back up again :)

Massive massive amounts of rng in arena drafts.
