Just drafted this deck. Insane cards and tons of synergy, but barely any 2 drops. 2-0 so far, how do you guys think itll do? www.heartharena.com/arena-run/7799g2
P.S. this is like the 8th straight run I get to pick paladin, definitely great success there :)
Just saw this. I have over 6k arena wins, you dont need to to explain what running out of cards means, thanks though :) Ill take your advice into consideration next time Im offered that nonsense. I just didn't envision that deck ever running low on cards, even on turn 16, if you have 6 cards in hand, would you play this? Considering that you can maybe get rid of 2 cards per turn at best?
Im not bashing the app based on this alone. I loved heartharena when i first started playing, it was definitely a huge help, my win avg went up by about 1.3 after downloading it. However after some expansion was released I noticed a substantial drop off in my win avg, until i decided to try drafting on my own, and it went back to where it was. My logic, and please do correct me if Im missing something, is that HA uses data from matches in its algorithm. When cards are first released, there is little to no data, and with people still learning, the data will be unreliable. Even old cards need to be re-evaluated, with new synergies, etc. After a few weeks, their system tends to adjust and be more reliable.
However, I still find that i tend to do better when I draft with HA off. Perhaps because it doesn't account for your play style? Im sure some cards have a very specific niche and way to play them(Aluneth? :D), but theres more than 1 way to play the game. Even using it as a guide, doesnt work for me. I often like to put run my deck through their system after the draft to see what theyd score it and I find that tier score doesnt seem to translate into wins as frequently as youd think. I know this is circumstantial evidence, but this is my current arena deck.
