Despite I played ~400 Battlegrounds matches I am a newbie rather than an expert so please tell me why the match has finished with 2 players?
I did not play against the winner (we did not have the final battle). We both ended with health. The match surprisingly ended and I finished 2nd (probably because I had less HP than the winner).
Is there any time/round limit in Battlegrounds? I did not feel that this was longer than usual.
It's a bug. And knowing that it's a bug, it may be even worse for 2nd, 3rd 4th players than the first one. The 1st one will at least get to know the game bugged, while the 4th one will think he's in that 'worse' half, because it will display him as 5th.
I understand that this 'bug' can happen when 2 or more players lost at the same time so the system needs to somehow address the place to each player while the MMR points are divided equaly. But how it is possible that I did not lose and I am second?
I was coming on here to post about this as it just happened to me. Robbed! Played the same opponent 3 or 4 turns in a row despite there being a 3rd player available so I knew something was up but then it gave the 3rd player 1st place and me 2nd when I finally killed the guy I had been fighting. I have a similar Screenshot as OP if anyone cares.
This bug has been ruining games for more than 2 weeks now. I'm a game developer myself and I can't believe how long it's taking Blizzard to fix game breaking bugs. Total insanity! I actually get out of bed to fix bugs like these for my games and don't go back to bed before the fix has been deployed...
