I'm sure I'm not the first person to think of this, but I just pulled a legendary card (Whizbang) and knowing the gold version of it was really good, I instantly had the thought: "I wish HS had the option of upgrading a currently owned card to its gold version for a small discount." (Obviously, the normal version would be "consumed" in the process.) I doubt it'll ever happen, but it would be a nice change regardless of the amount of the discount.
I mean, technically the discount is 400 dust from disenchanting the normal copy.
But I guess you want it higher. Makes sense to me, since blizzard would inventivize players to spend more dust on only cosmetics which only helps them, and people wouldn't be getting new cards from it, only golden copies of what they already have. Seems like good business for them actually, stimulating dust use without giving anything away.
and the thing is almost every card you want in golden, you will already have in common. And the insanly rare case you get a golden legendary in a pack, it will most likely be some gargbage card, like for me my last one was lorewalker cho.

Ikr, I hate getting bad golden legendaries, it's such a slap in the face. I legit rather just get a regular, good epic than a golden legendary

I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not, because a bad golden legendary is four regular, good epics of your choice in terms of dust value. It is unequicacally better to get a golden legendary because it has the highest dust and thus trade-in value in the game.

Don't know if this is sarcasm, obviously getting a golden legendary is really good, because you can chose another one for free if you get one you don't want. I just mean they feeling of opening a GOOD golden legendary is so amazing but you will rarely experience that, because you will have the ones you REALLY want already crafted.

The problem with that is that if you disenchant Cho, you could get him again in the next pack. That's how I got Millhouse twice. I'm not disenchanting him again and that's purely to ensure I won't get him in a pack again.

Except that if it's golden you get 1600. If it's regular I agree just keep it.

i would love that as well. :)
Great idea, thought the same before
The goal of all life is death.

I still own golden Cho.

Yeah they might do that. 1200 dust to upgrade
such salt much BM.

I support this idea too
Only if you can't DE them anymore. No dust gain cheating.
