Blizzard can confirm the following concerns laid out by others:
1) A Golden version will indeed create a complete golden deck. It should, but a confirmation would make me feel safe about spending 3200 dust.
2) It will replace the entire deck, including the mulligan cards. It would have to replace the deck prior to the mulligan, so hat would be a slightly new mechanic unless I’m mistaken.
3) He will continue to use Blizzards new recipes in the upcoming expansions.
For me, if these turn out to be the case confirmed by Blizzard, this will be my first golden craft ever. If not, it’s a hugely missed target by Blizzard.

In the reveal video, it clearly showed that when u put him in your deck, he replaces entire deck and there is only one single card in it, so this happens even before you enter the game = no mulligan problems. And they also stated that the recipes are (will be) the currently available ones, so yeah, it should work on the future ones as well.

I think that, in some form, this is an experimental thing. Y'shaarj led to recruit, Hero Cards are here to stay, Rush was a great answer to the problem of Charge powered minions. Whizzbang strikes me as an attempt to reach out and monetise those with small collections.

Sorry, I haven’t been able to watch the reveal yet. That’s great news, so it looks like this will be my first golden craft.
As a wild player, I won't get to test the new meta with Whizbang because all the recipes are in standard.
This card will not be very fun to play once it rotates to wild and it will keep on getter worse as more rotations come.
The only way to solve it is to introduce wild recipes but it will be too hard for blizzard to do that because of the variety of decks you can make in wild

Why are people like "I can only play 1 kind of thing?"

Hehe. :P
Now seriously, just play Standard Lakers_9, you are not going to die for doing so. ;) Complaining about Whizbang because you limit yourself (for whatever reason) to only play Wild is totally ridiculous.
Just to make things clear for me (I haven't gotten around to watching the video, and I'm not even sure it would answer my question...):
If I make a deck with Whizbang the Wonderful, it's the only card I put in my deck? and at the start of each game, I get to play a random deck among the 27 recipe decks that exist at the current time in the game?
Thanks!
Yes, he will be the only one card. And no, you got from each class only the last two recipes (not th first one with classic card) so only18 recipes
They really need to clarify if Whizbang decks get updated every expansion, if they suddenly decide it wont after boomsday its gonna be 10x worse than DK rexxar community outcry.
Question #4: What will happen when he rotates out of standard?
I'm also considering crafting as a golden but wonder what happens when he rotates to wild. Will he only carry recipes from a fixed point? Will he always get the newest standard recipes to be played only in wild?
That is a great question which needs answering before day1, for me to consider crafting it golden. 1) Will there ever be wild recipies? One per class would not be such a paint to compile every 3 months (and most can be changed only once a year), and may even be a great way for newer players to try wild before jumping in.
2) Will the card remain forever in standard? I see no reason not to, an evergreen "jocker" card, which can even be put into the basic set or (crazy idea incoming): given to new players once they reach R20 for the first time or something like that.
If no one of those is a yes, I will not be crafting it. I main wild and have a pretty good colelction, so I do not feel the need to have access to random recipies in Standard. Then again, I know I´m not the target audience for this guy and I´d not disenchant it if I get it.

I believe that the Whizxbang just uses the current two deck recipes and since Blizzards update deck recipes with each expansion so Whizzbang will use the actual recipes in the game.

This is not the "only way to solve it." They could also add Whizbang to the classic set, making him available for every standard rotation.

I'm interested in how he will work out.
Golden Hero Collections thus far; -
Europe: Druid, Hunter, Paladin, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, Warrior (9/9)
Americas: Druid, Mage, Paladin Shaman (4/9)
Everywhere else: Workin on it.. (0/9)

He replaces your hero too, so I wonder if he makes the hero and hero power gold
Why are people like "I can only play 1 kind of thing?"
Any news on what his hero power will be? Like will it just be the hero power of the recipe class or a unique one
That's how I assume it to be as well. Hes a hero skin basically.

He can't be epic cause he is already a legendary card..
I will show myself out.

I would imagine you have to pick a class to create the deck like always, so that would be my guess.
