Hi, has anyone notice that since the rotation, the only 10 drops left are death wing, ultrasaur, and tyrantus. All the all gods are gone. Spiteful Druid and spiteful priest are having a strong boost at turn 6 with the 10 mana spells. Even spiteful mage can be a thing now.
I really can’t find any counter to turn 6 spiteful summoner except for playing even paladin with a perfect hands.
I ma trying to play my home brew quest warrior, beats the taunt Druid and paladin consistently but can’t do anything especially if they summon the tyrantus.
I feel like the only way to fight with the spiteful deck is playing cube lock, where I can cheat out big minions and has multiple crazy board clear, Any thought?
On yeah,I forgot those giants and the new emeriss. Apparently only priest can counter priest if we want to play old style control deck instead of cheap out mana on early turns.

If you see that many spiteful decks just play mage with two counter spells and two voodoo dolls (instant removal with hero power) and some other stuff. Stop complaining about other decks, look for the counter!
Just realised you can also play hunter with the new 5 mana 1/3 poisonous rush minions + deadly shots for their spiteful/free from amber turn. Hunter also makes it so their mind control is much weaker because hunter don't usually run big minions.

Vodoo Doll doesnt even counter it, he pays 6 mana to get a 4/4 +X, for 5 mana you remove only the X, so you have 1 mana and 0 cards to answer the 4/4 AND gain value...well no.
Vodoo doll doesnt let you lose the game instantly but its far away from beeing a counter.
It is stronger than ever, but there are reasonable ways to counter it nonetheless:
If you're playing aggro/tempo, make a board so threatening that, if they play spiteful summoner, they die. You can ignore their big minions and go face, play Glacial Shard and go face, or play a taunt and go face (it doesn't matter much if the taunt is small because they won't have much removal because they can't play spells). If you're playing even paladin, save Sunkeeper Tarim or Equality (if you play it in your deck).
That was just an example, there are many ways to counter one big thing on oponents board. I'm not struggling with spiteful decks AT ALL so what do I know, but clearing as paladin might be better cuz of pyromancer + equality combo or equality + juggler + 1 mana jungle thingy. Well, maybe I'm wrong, just saying what I think of "that's too strong, we need to nerf every card in the game because I'm playing one deck that doesn't counter it" posts.
Typical blizzard behaviour would be doing nothing for months and printing a low stats 10 mana minion for an indirect nerf instead of nerfing the actual card.

I have found uninstalling the game and deleting my Hearthpwn account to be effective.
