ye i've noticed this hell of a lot just lately, rather than concede and end the game straight away, people are babyraging and quitting instead, which i'm guessing they just do because they think it's going to waste our time. lol, normally I just sit here and laugh that they threw their toys out the pram.

Simple. It's rage quit, and it does waste the other person time. Also most of the time you are done for HS for the day, and it's quicker to quit than to concede.
Probably because people thank you for conceding which is annoying and BM so in response people have started doing this more.
that's what the squelch button is for. lol, I've started auto-squelching everyone at the start of my games now to avoid this and the constant emote spam which people seem to think is cool.

Today I was little bit tilted. I played vs rogue, after some clown fiesta and crazy RNG from him I came back and had game literally won. But not today. He topdecked Yogg, which cleared my board, put million secrets, drew billion cards, healed him and still stayed as 20/5 with his 3/3, 2/2 and 1/1 friends. I quit the game, slammed the door and came outside for a breath of fresh air. I didn't even think about clicking escape to nice concede.
For some reason this dosnt work on my phone. I wish it would, hate the emote system
hey, just think though, it could be worse, there could be ingame chat where you actually talk with your opponent during the game. haha, I thank the lord this game doesn't have that, I play league of legends also and pretty much every other game I get cancer wished on me and my family and told to go "kys" etc etc, at least there are mute buttons for league but for that you only mute them after they've said the awful things anyway, might just start doing /muteall to solve that issue too. lol, love the league community. xD

I hate when RNG wins games in HS...ask the pos priests about their lucky RNG, and they still BM ya
Sometimes it's an accidental disconnect or a real life interruption. If not, I agree that a disconnect rather than concede is poor sportsmanship. Take the extra three seconds to hit "concede".
Related: if you have lethal damage just take it; don't waste your and your opponent's time by playing extra cards, killing minions, etc. If you know that your opponent has lethal, just concede. Again, don't waste time stretching it out.

There are quest to play X amount of class cards in the game.

Many times when it's your last game it's easier to just close the app or the game directly than concede and then close the game.
For a person looking for "one logical reason" for such "childish" behavior you don't sound that logical bro.
Except it specifically wastes your opponent's time when you do it. It is childish and it's petty. If you can't press 2 button before quitting, you're an asshole lmao
why people quitting games and not conceding ?
It takes less time. Especially on a phone. Not that I do it
But to your point it is annoying to your opponent and thus quite rude. It always gives me a laugh though when I make someone rage quit

G=Good B=Bad Do you see the pattern? Every second expansion is always trash.
G: Goblins V Gnomes , Old Gods, unguro
B: TGT, gadgetzan, Knights (Unreleased so MAYBE)
maybe they got disconnected
Vote for my Card Design Submission! I love this one!
Is it really faster to quit then concede?

For myself if I just quit its because I have shit to do or I have to leave. Sometimes you think you have more time than you actually do.
