Mhh, could work. So after Abusive Seargeant, the card would read "Battlecry, give a friendly minion +2 attack this turn." with a (white florating?) comment text "copied from Abusive Sergeant"
Copying a deathrattle is easier to implement, because you can use the battlecry targeting to choose the minion to copy from.
Another option is to gain the battlecry effect as a spell.
It's a cool concept. I'm not sure about it being neutral, however? Thematically this seems like something you'd perhaps want to limit to specific classes.

True. Mage fits (obviously, think Mirror Entity) but Priest could work too with different name and artwork.
