Since I've always wanted to work on a Custom Expansion for Hearthstone, I thought I'd do so with a twist. Instead of making loads of cards at once and revealing them, I thought I'd make a new expansion one card at a time.
The set I'm going to be working on is called Whispers of Pandaria. It's a set based around the Mists of Pandaria expansion in World of Warcraft. It features a brand new keyword - Meditate, which gives you an extra bonus the turn after you play the card. I'm going to be making one card at a time for the new set, so we can see how it develops as time progresses.
Starting today I'm going to reveal three cards in a day, one at a time. This is because I don't want to spend half a year making a 132 card set. Plus I'm going to be off to Australia in a few weeks so I want to give you a few more cards before I head off and take a 3-week hiatus, as it were.
30/11 Card Reveal [1/3] - Immerseus
Animated Armor on crack. Wow, that's some strong shit.
As a shaman main, I've always loved the idea of a deck where you throw down a big minion, hope it sticks, and then Windfury someone in the face. Way of the Monks would be an awesome card, and I would play it for sure.
So, looks like I may have skipped a day by accident. Oh dear.
23/10 Card Reveal - Transcendence
So as it turns out, I'm a big fan of Aggro Druid.
You mean give your minions taunt? I don't see how can this be different than giving your minions taunt and that just makes this card so weak plus with giving them taunt it synergies better with that druid minion that buffs taunts.
It works the same way as Transcendence does in the Lorewalker Cho fight. you can't take damage from spells or minions untill the marked minions are dead.
EDIT: Plus it cannot be silenced since it's a passive effect rather than an enchantment. Like Crystal Core minions stay as a 5/5 after being Silenced.
Purge is OP, it's just better than Twisting Nether now. I don't think a mana cost increase can make it balanced though. The original design could work if it was a single target spell instead.

A brilliant card in minion-heavy decks. Big Priest, anyone?
22/10 Card Reveal - Practice
A nice card for Miracle Rogue.
So, looks like I may have skipped a day by accident. Oh dear.
23/10 Card Reveal - Transcendence
So as it turns out, I'm a big fan of Aggro Druid.
24/10 Card Reveal - Purge [REWORKED]
Eh, this card kinda sucks. I'm probably going to change it.
Dude this looks awesome! You should keep making the expansion
Welp, after a massive hiatus, we're back!!!
28/11 Card Reveal - Corrupted Staff
DEFINITELY not inspired by the new Shaman spell.

Btw, Purge rework!
30/11 Rework - Purge v2.0
Seems a lot better now.

1/12 Card Reveal [1/3] - Xuen, the White Tiger
The first of the August Celestials is... really good at hiding.
It works the same way as Transcendence does in the Lorewalker Cho fight. you can't take damage from spells or minions untill the marked minions are dead.

Well if they can't be silenced it is much better and I kinda forgot about spells :D
Still think it's a bit expensive maybe it should cost 4 . Overall cards are pretty interesting, some of them are op but oh well
1/12 Card Reveal [2/3] - Firepaw's Adversary
The greatest virtue is the will to act... and gain Armor.
