Well, while we keep waiting like crazy for the new Death Knights, I though about sharing with you guys an idea I had for the new Warrior Death Knight.
The idea is to synergize with all the new Control cards we've been receiving to try and "help" control warrior become a thing again. I think a card like this could give a final push for Control Warrior becoming great again :)
Any thoughts? Is it balanced enough?
Remember, this is just for fun. Don't take it to seriously.
I feel this would benefit a tempo damage warrior more then a control. It's too minion oriented for a control warrior of old to take big use of, they would prefer armour up. Maybe a new hybrid could be created if this card existed? Who knows.
On the surface I don't mind it at all. A skillful board clear into an armour gaining passive sounds good. But then you run into the problem that MagicalCrocodile stated: where are the minions for the hero power to take advantage of? Acolyte of Pain? Armorsmith? They do have decent synergy, but by the time you drop this card, those minions can easily be cleared, minimizing the hero power's effect. This card might work in Taunt Warrior, but not in Control Warrior.
Even if we were to put this in a Tempo Warrior deck, the card does little good; you can only play this card when you're behind or risk clearing your own board, which if that is the case by turn 7, the tempo deck has failed. It might give you the time needed for a comeback, but considering that you probably spent turns 1-6 trying to outpace your opponent, you probably have run out of resources.
I really like cards that can play from two sides of the metagame clock, allowing for decks to flip between aggro and control depending on the player's needs (e.g. Mountainfire Armor is my favourite card in the set) but this card cannot create that "hybrid" deck MagicalCrocodile speaks of. The hero power needs to be something more proactive besides gaining a little armour sometimes.
Oh and flavour-wise, I don't understand this card at all. Warrior of all classes would not waste time collecting soul fragments of his beaten down army in the heat of battle. Thats much more Warlock-y.
The battlecry is good, but your hero power is quite useless in control matchup, which the current weak point of CW. CW demonish aggro already so gain armor that late isnt really needed. The hero power must provide infinite value like the Hunters or Mage one so CW can contest in control matchup. Deadman hand is very good but i doubt it can contest infinite value on board alone (ie Jaxxarus)
Interesting! I like it! The battlecry isn't too flavor-friendly with Warrior as a class, but the Hero Power could stand to be a bit stronger. Otherwise, I like it!
Given how good their quest was, I would actually expect a pretty lackluster Death Knight for Warrior. I honestly don't expect the real Death Knight card to blow us away. What I'm trying to say is I think you might be on the right track.
Also ties will probably be given to the minion played first, seems like how hearthstone breaks ties.
Won't really work for control, as you won't have too many minions. Like normally you could only do this in one or max 2 rounds with armorsmith for example.
Cool effort though. Might work well in tempo decks.
You guys had really great points! I got worried regarding the Hero Power and making it OP, so I thought about the armor gain. But yeah, Tempo Warrior could actually benefit much more from this DK :)
Thanks for all the insights!

Oops, wrong place. You can move this to Fan Creations. Sorry about that.

The card is cool, but the design is a bit clunky.

Every night I hear the whispers. But why doesn't anyone else? C'Thun: What Went Wrong?

My Wild Legend Pirate Warrior:

Wording for Hero Power > Frothing Berserker :P
Also Garrosh's battlecry is very unclear, what if there r 2 or more minions with the lowest Attack value?
