Disclaimer: This deck serves one purpose, tomfoolery. While it can be competitive at times, it still remains a one-trick pony and loses more often than not. I was in the recent wave of invites and my card pool is limited, so some other cards could bring its value up a touch.
The Unleash the Hounds deck is fun as hell to play. The big turns and/or KO's are fantastic to pull off and you can't help but to enjoy the jaw dropping defeat of your opponent. Most people can expect it from a hunter now, so I turned to trying to emulate that with the warrior's deck.
The deck revolves around a couple of pieces but the main one is Raging Worgen. I pair it with Rampage, Inner Rage, Charge. You can also use Cruel Taskmaster. It's the only enrage with windfury so I felt it was a fantastic addition, though the Troll Zerker and Tauren Warrior are just as interesting as their bonuses are much higher. However, since we are trying for a 1 turn KO, I felt the Worgen should be the centerpiece.
As noted above my limited card pool doesn't let me fully flesh out this deck, but here is its not-so-optimal first incarnation:
The deck really needs to just delay to about turn 7/8, keep the board clear, or just eat damage, and hopefully you draw enough pieces and get enough damage on the opponent. I always try for a Fiery War Axe in my starting hand but it really isn't necessary against anyone other than a priest. I found the hardest decisions to make were when to kill creatures and when to apply damage to the hero in order to prepare for a KO.
I don't really like whirlwinds here, but they serve two purposes, and one of those is two sided itself: The first being early game aggression, obviously. The second can come when you're ready to Unleash the Worgen(s), A whirlwind wont kill your worgen, and it allows you to execute a taunter if necessary. Of course this requires two extra mana, but hey, it could come in handy.
What I would change:
The Commander is there for insurance but its hardly needed, and you cant really do a full combo if you have to play it as well. So that's out (-1 card). As noted the Tauren warriors don't have windfury, so I would take them out (-2). I'd also take out either a heroic strike, or a Kor'Kron Elite, as they serve the same purpose, kill something with 4 hp (-1).
With 4 cards to play with I'd obviously want second copies of Inner Rage and Rampage. I think Slam would take my other two slots, mainly for card draw, although the Arathi Weaponsmith is appealing and even more so: Mortal Strike
Thoughts?
