I am currently using the following deck. I took ideas from many Murloc decks. Only rogue decks currently give me issue due to the rogue's weapon hero ability killing off my early Murlocs. I would like some thoughts from other shaman players.
Overview I recently started playing Hearthstone and I found a deck that reminded me of my Magic the Gathering days when I would overrun opponents with Goblins in 4-5 turns. As I quickly found out, Murlocs are the Goblins of Hearthstone.
Minions The Murlocs – Self buffing horde of “Mrghllghghllghg!” Flametongue Totem – More buffing of the Murlocs.
Spells Lava Burst – Some games you will get so close to killing your opponent on turn 5 or 6, but he takes board control. Lava burst helps finish the game. Lightning Storm – Board clear. Hex – Frogs are much easier to kill. Bloodlust – The reason why Murlocs love a Shaman. This is the turn 5 all in. Rockbiter - I initially did not like this card as it is +3 attack for one turn only, but the cheap cost and this deck going all in by turn 5 makes it fit. Windfury - A super buffed Murloc attacking twice a turn. YES PLEASE!
Need some opinions. I would like to add Earth Shock to this deck for the silence, but I cannot decide what to remove. Should I replace Lightning Storm or Flametongue Totem? I like Lightning Storm for early board clear as to not waste my murlocs killing minions. I like Flamtogue Totem for the buff. Thoughts?
I think Murlocs are the Slivers of Magic. Both share one thing: Put anything you have into it, then fill up.
I play Murloc Shaman without Hex. Usually you don't need them before Turn 7, when the big guys come out; Murlocs win earlier or loose. You could try no Hex + 2 Earth Shocks or Owls. I like Owls, they are somewhat a soft tank, I don't know why. Cost 2 is not as good as 1 for the shocks, but if they stay ingame, they can put more damage out, where you want it.

Shamurloc is my favorite of the murloc variety personally.
