I think most of you know how this works by now, but just in case:
- Mulligan every card that isn't Tracking or Unleash the Hounds
- Tracking targets: Unleash the Hounds > Young Dragonhawk > Timber Wolf (maybe pick the Silence Owl if playing against Druid/Priest taunt heavy decks)
- Steady Shot aggressively while controlling the board with Arcane Shot, Explosive/Freezing Traps, Eaglehorn Bow, Deadly Shot and Animal Companion
- When playing second always save the coin for the turn you go off
- Silence any taunt minions with the Owl the turn before you go off.
- Going off: You need Unleash the Hounds, Dragonhawk and Wolves (Timber or Alpha) and 7+ mana (perfect hand can go off on 6 if opponent is low on HP). You also need to not suck at math so you can count your lethal damage.
- If you're missing pieces and are about to die, play Starving Buzzard into beasts and hope to draw out of it.
- Be aware of Secrets and how to counter them, don't run into Explosive/Freezing trap or Noble Sacrifice!
- This deck is dirt cheap to build, with only 2 rares and 8 basics, the rest are commons. If you're the poorest man on Earth and can't even afford the Eaglehorn Bows, they can be "replaced" by Kill Command (that was my first version of the deck, but I like the Bow better as you can cast it the turn before you go off and have an extra 3 damage on board)
If you want to discuss card choices, possible replacements, matchups, etc. I'd love to!
Card choices:
- Kill Command was replaced by Eaglehorn Bow, more reliable removal and finisher. The thing is, in this deck you rarely have a Beast on board before you go off, and when you go off you don't have 3 mana to spend on Kill Command.
- Multi-Shot was removed for being too slow at 4 mana and replaced with Arcane Shot. Less powerful but more reliable.
- Cobra was removed for Deadly Shot. Again, the Cobra is too slow and will never kill the dude you want it to kill, whereas Deadly Shot will sometimes kill it (especially if the board is empty after you Arcane Shotted the weenies)
- Scavenging Hyena was removed because it never used its ability and was always a vanilla 2/2 for 2, not the place you want to be at. Replaced with Loot Hoarder, who can trade with an x/2 and draw into missing combo pieces.
- River Crocolisk was removed for not trading with x/3 creatures and being generally underwhelming. Replaced by Freezing Trap, an absolute beast against fatty decks.
- On the chopping block: considering removing Bloodfen Raptor, as it currently is the card that I cast the least often and I generally hate to draw it. I don't know what to replace it with, however. Other 2-drops are worse - I won't go back to Cobra... maybe Novice Engineer for smoother draws? But Novice Engineer doesn't trade with anything relevant... Something to think about.
Thanks Nevexity, I will try your ideas (I definitely agree the 2nd Eaglehorn is overkill and I like the Snake Trap, also Flare is soo much better than Engineer for card draw!)
Looks like a pretty generic hunter otk deck, seen maybe 4-5 of these today, lol. I don't like the raptor so much and prefer crocolisk but that's just me, Besides that you're missing 2x flare and for a personal suggestion try 2x leper gnome for that little extra damage, otherwise, have fun.

I know this is not a novel deck idea, but I wanted to share my take on the deck.
I tweaked it while climbing the ladder, from Bronze to 3 Star Master in ~50 wins including a 17 win-streak from 1 to 2 star master (EU).
