Tired of your aggro decks petering out by late game? Nasty flamestrike take out your board? Not to worry! With the new Doppelgangster card, you're able to increase the consistency and win condition of your aggro deck threefold - pun intended!
At first glance, Dopplegangster looks like a decent card - a neutral nerfed Force of Nature. However, the thing is, with the new buff-minions-in-your-hand ability, this goes from a decent card to an INSANE card. If this thing gets buffed even once, even just +1/+1, the copies keep the increased stats, meaning you're getting 9/9 of stats for a paltry 5 mana! And they can get even bigger - with cards like Grimestreet Enforcer and even smaller cards like Grimestreet Outfitter, you can build your dear gangsters to bigger and bigger sizes! And if a Dopplegangster manages to get buffed by Don Han'Cho himself... well, that's THREE war golems for only FIVE MANA - a deal to put even Dr Boom to shame!
Oh, but the best part's yet to come - Dopplegangster is at his best when combo'ed with Brann Bronzebeard! For only 8 mana, you get not only Brann, but 10/10 worth of stats! AND THAT'S UNBUFFED! Buff the dopplegangster and play him with brann and you get a near-full board of nasty little buggers, ready to take off half the enemy's health at a moment's command! And need I even mention Don Han'cho?
BONUS: Each doppelgangster (including the clones) retains the same card text and stats, so if even one gangster survives to your next turn, even one of the clones, you can potentially bounce him back to your hand with Youthful Brewmaster and play him again for 3 more minions!
And finally, for a limited time only (until they're nerfed), our Doppelgangsters are on SALE! For those who order now, these babies cost ONLY 200 DUST! Yes, you get an Epic-tier card for a 600-dust discount! Get yours today!
(serious note: This really is a great card. What do you guys think, though?)
It is definitely a good card. But it is very weak to the powerful AOE running around unless it gets the Don buff or you stack a lot of other buffs on it. After messing around with a midrange paladin deck I can say that it's a solid card, but no silver bullet in my experience.
