General strategy:
-Mulligan everything if you dont have a Young Dragonhawk in your hand, if you can't play it in turn one restart the fight
-If you have the Young Dragonhawk on your starting hand keep cards who can protect it (the best ones are Hand of Protection Argent Protector Righteous Protector Shieldbearer and Dark Conviction)
-Blessing of Wisdom is also a pretty good card to keep in your hand at the start because is a 1 mana draw 2 cards every turn
-Keep the whole game buffing the Young Dragonhawk
-If he dies restart
Edit
Special thanks to kiwiinbacon for making a video playing the deck and showing how it works
Why do you need Redemption? If your hawk is killed you need to restart anyway and LK focuses the dragonhawk anyway.
Great job, thx
Now THIS works. 5 attempts vs the 50+ failures with OP's deck
Thanks mate. Made it with your list. April 24, 2019
I hate to be one of those "Oh yeah, I did it first try!" guys, but no shit... did just like FizlDrix said - restarted til I got the Young Dragonhawk in my starting hand and just buffed him while clearing the minor minions. Had him by Turn 6... amazing! Especially after going all night trying to do it with a Mage deck...
Its free to play and its possible to do it. But you need the perfect drawing and the perfect "Lich-King-plays".
I tested a few things but nothing really went right, so the only tips are: a) dont buff your Young Dragonhawk too fast, or he will use Obliterate on turn 2-3, b) always mulligan for Young Dragonhawk and Blessing of Wisdom, to draw as much as possible, c) trade efficient with Divine Shields (best case no taunts) and d) pray to R-N-G-sus for no Obliterate and no Blizzard for the whole game.
These is a little collection of every deck ive defeated the Lich King with:

Hey this worked great! Took 15+ tries due to bad luck cards but it works!
Still works as is , great deck!
I finally did it thanks to you, today I did it with mage and then with your pally deck as the last one and now I have Arthas <3 Thanks man
Niiiiiiice
Thanks! :)
did it on the first try without Blessed Champion added 2 flappy birds

FINALLY.
Holy crap.
It's all luck that he doesn't draw Obliterate... but this deck is A++++++.
fuck yes.
Took maybe a few dozen restarts to get the cards necessary, but considering how many times I actually tried, maybe... half a dozen??
THIS DECK.
YES.
THIS WAS THE LAST ONE I NEEDED.
FEELS GOOD MAN.
Um...wutt, this deck makes no sense - why would you fill your deck with taunt minions that he steals if the point is to kill him by turn 6? Plus this deck is way too weak to obliterate, and way too reliant on a single card combo
Lynessa Sunsorrow is another good card to have since when she dies, she will be 1/1 for the LK. She is the one who made the killing blow for me
Cleared after 2 hours, so this is very doable - just restart if you don't have a GREAT opening hand.
Notably, I won on turn 10, which means that the buffed dragonhawks + lots of divine shields are strong enough to make it through the trapped souls.
It seems to me the boss has just too many ways to get rid of what is basically the deck's only threat...
How do you deal with those crowded boards, taunts, obliterates and the freeze minion?
How were these encounters designed? What's the point of forcing people to restart 200 times the game to have that 1% chance of winning? This is not a rant, it's a legitimate question, I'd really like to know what they had in mind.
Usually I restarted if he froze my hawk, but if I had Darkness I buffed the hawk, or if I had Justice I killed the elemental. If you can't do either of those and your hawk is exposed AND frozen, restart. Basically, you need a lot of Divine Shield buffs to clear his board and just trade, face, trade.
got it. this was tough. i ended up being very minimal at clearing his board. only used the 1/4 weapon and that was it. Got really lucky that no taunts got placed.
managed to buff up the young hawk to win the game :}
Easy win at first try!! Thanks a lot
