Skelemancer Rougue Deck

Here's another unique deck brought to you by the mind of, domoVSdomo. Enjoy!

Skelemancer in the right hands with the right mindset can be crippling!

After I built this deck, out of curiosity, I jumped online the check out the reviews/comments about Skelemancer. Of course they were crap... without even going online, we all knew that already. That's fine by me!

I'm all about being unique and different. Fuck with everyone else is doing...it's about what I'm doing. For me it's about setting trends. You can't set a trend if you're following what everyone else is doing.

All of my decks are unique and they're my creations. If even there's one single soul that looks at one of my decks and says, "Yo! That's dope! I'm running it!"...I'm so so grateful and thank you!

The rebuttals with Skelemancer are it's "too slow' and there's a ton of ways to deal with him.

Example:

Hexes, Poly's, or pop the 2/2 and kill the 8/8 with Assassinate.

Or my nightmare...

Pop 2/2 + Equality + Consecration. When this printed, I was so pissed! But it's part of the game. It's also part of the game when their hard removal tools don't show up to work. Then it's game on! So instead of focusing on what can go wrong...focus on what can go right.

Be mindful...Skelemancer isn't the only minion on your squad! All of the hard removal he's going to attract is going to free up your other creatures. And more importantly, your precious Face. I'm so so grateful Skelemancer is on my squad.

The versatility of this deck is off the charts! You have 4 other options via Journey Below and Stonehill Defender to draw Minions that are Shadowcaster/Faceless Shambler worthy. You may grab a 0/3 Dino Egg or Squidface. You may even grab a decent Taunt that's worth Faceless shambling.

Now let's get to the obvious gig.

You want to get your Skelemancers down ASAP and shut down your opponents AOE. Start
Shadowcasting the 2/2s and Faceless Shambler the 8/8s.

Always keep 2 things in mind...

Anything that is going to make your opponent hesitate/slow down is going to buy you extra turns. Advantage you.

Any hard removal on your 2/2 8/8 Skellys is going to free up your other minions and your Face. You have 1/4, 2/3, 2/4, 4/4 and 2 Cold bloods. Go to work!! The chip damage over time is going to fuckin' hurt!! And there's nothing wrong with Faceless shambling a 4/4.

Your 4 silence minions are for clearing Taunts, Troublesome minions, or if one of your 2/2 Skellys are stolen/copied.

Notable combos:

For 6 Mana:

The Death Marriage: So fuckin' diesel!!

Deathspeaker + Plague Scientist on any minion. This is Incredibly dope and unexpected!

For 4 Mana:

Harvesting Monsters:

If you have a 0/3 Dino Egg or a 2/2 Skelly...

Deathpeaker + Coolblood...go to work!! Now they have to deal with 4/3 6/2 Deathrattle minions that produce 5/5  8/8 monsters. Get your Faceless Shamblers ready.

For 4 or 5 Mana:

Silent Attack: I love this combo!!

After playing a 2/2 Skelly and your opponent plays a Taunt...

Ironbeak Owl/Spellbreaker + Coldblood on your 2/2 Skelly. Another unexpected surprise attack!

For 6 Mana:

Deadly Silence:

Ironbeak Owl + Plague Scientist!

This is incredibly diesel on Deathrattle Minions like Spikesteed.

The obvious gig...

Skelemancer + Defender of Argus.

Shadowcasting.

The obvious Shadowcasting gig is on your 2/2 Skelly. However, they may never print. Your other Shadowcasting options are...Immune, Poison, or Death via Vilespine Slayer. Or even...

The Original Righteous Protector.

I played a few games where I
Shadowcasted Sunwalker (Way KOFT was born). No matter the size, any Divine Shield Taunt has to be dealt with twice. In key situations this could be critical!

It's amazing to me that Righteous Protector exist. Hell, I've already experienced a 1/1 Divine Shield Taunt. And on the backside of that Divine Shield with Taunt is a 4/4 ready to pounce!

Again, the versatility of this deck build is bananas! I just played a game where Skellys didn't print. Instead, I got a Bone Drake from Journey Below. I was able to Faceless Shamble that and when my Bone Drake died, I got a Scaled Nightmare! I was able to play that with double Coldbloods. Next turn he was 20/8 and that got Faceless Shambled.

After playing my Bone Drake, my opponent played one of their own. So dope! Unfortunately for them, I had the Deadly Silence combo in hand. It's absolutely crushing when you silence their deathrattle Minion then kill it.

Grimmlock is incredible fun! Give it a go and let me know what you think.

As always, thanks for your time and thanks for reading.

Enjoy!!

Special note:

Does Ironbeak Owl and Plague Scientist have the same barber? ;) So diesel!!
