Greetings fellow druid players, if you're like me you've seen that the new Naxx cards are playing havoc with the ladder. The meta is changing very fast and what was good last week suddenly isn't because some crazy pro deck is all over the place today (I'm looking at you, janky RDU shaman).

Since poison seeds is basically garbage, druids haven't gotten much love so far. (Unless you play the token deck.) Ramp and token were your big options, but lets face it, neither are great against zoo, or hunter. But there is another way to build druid that's different, it plays like midrange-control, using minions to maintain board control, with a couple of ways to close out games and deal with situations.

Everyone's meta is different, but if you need a deck that's rock solid against zoo, and favorable against hunter, give this a try.

Deck style-

'Stuck in my fur' is a taunt control deck built around having a large number of 3,4, and 5 drop taunters to  run your opponent out of viable creatures/ removal. Traditionally midrange druid would be playing yeti's and harvest golems, We swap those out for Sen'jin and Deathloard. Traditional ramp is cutting the force-roar combo to add even more top heavy legends , we are cutting the top end legends (rag, ysera, cenarius) to get that second copy of the combo in.

Card choices-

So deathlord is actually really good against  a lot of decks. Vs. zoo it pulls out a low value minion, with hunter it usually grabs a small beast that is vulnerable to removal or missing a key battlecry. even against druid mirrors, the choice cards come out with no bonuses, so Dotc is a blank 4/4, same for ancients. The only place where you really have to be cautious are handlock and control warrior. This card was a flat out replacement for Harvest Golem, which did little against zoo and was crushed late game.

Sludge belcher is a solid 5 drop taunter, its really crucial that we drop a taunt on at least two of the 3,4,and 5 mana turns. If you really don't like it swap for sunwalker, however if you find that you are missing that 5 drop taunt you'll know why.

2 copies of the combo - so there are 2 reasions to play 2 copies of the combo. The first is so that in the contro matchup you can find it as a win condition, especally against decks that sac their own life to kill your minions like rogue and warrior, and the second is so that you can burn a combo card against aggro to gain board control, think of force like our unleash the hounds. Roar is often used to trade up into large minions or give your hero 3 attack to clear a valuable minion.
