Update 12/28/16: Due to a good suggestion, Ravaging Ghoul has been replaced by Argent Horserider.

This deck is a simple budget pirate warrior for the new Gadgetzan meta. It requires no expansions and is completely free-to-play.

I know there will be lots of outrage for the inclusion of Reckless Rocketeer, however I believe this deck needs some type of replacement for Leeroy Jenkins. I am open to suggestions if others would like to offer them. Personally, I have had good play experience with Reckless Rocketeer. If you prefer you can swap that card for a 100 dust more card called Argent Commander. It does 4 damage instead of 5, costs the same mana, and has divine shield.

 

Short Deck Guide

Mulligan for your pirates or low cost minions to start. Always keep a Fiery War Axe if the opportunity presents itself. Also consider keeping Bloodsail Cultist if your opening hand includes a weapon, or a minion that will give it one. Especially with pirate warrior, face is the place. Unless you can get a good value trade, go face. You want to try and destroy your enemy before they get a chance to really do much. Make sure to get max value out of your weapons by playing Bloodsail Cultist, Upgrade!, or Dread Corsair when a weapon is equipped. Argent Horserider is included to help clear some small, or low life minions, that you don't want to waste a weapon attack or trade on. It can also help create a win condition with Frothing Berserker. Acidic Swamp Ooze can help with the tricky aggro shaman match-ups, by ruining their weapon tempo. Frothing Berserker can create a win condition by himself. If you can protect him he will get out of control very quickly. Always try to pull that combo off. Also, make sure to utilize your pirate synergy. Read up on how each card combos with one another and know the correct time to play each respectively.
