Hi Everybody
Right now I think Jade Druid is extremely powerful in wild, mainly because of the large amount of priests and renolocks swarming the ladder. Most warriors in wild are control warriors or cthun warriors rather than pirate warriors as well. The slower meta in wild makes Jade druid much stronger.
This is my take on a Jade druid deck for wild. I took the basic premise of the jade druid deck, but subbed in things like sludge belcher and dr boom rather than other cards like Ancient of War, as they are much faster cards and deal much better with both aggro and control.
Two gadgetzan auctioneers are included rather than one to increase the deck's consistency and work better with the slower meta in general.
Eater of secrets can be swapped out for another tech card like Harrison or Ooze or BGH or even another Sludge Belcher, but I highly recommend it as it can really mess up a secret paladin's gameplan, especially if they played the secrets out of hand rather than from Dr. 6.
Try to play aggressively with your jade cards. Don't shuffle Jade Idol unless you can combo it with an auctioneer, and try to play your jade cards as early as possible so that you can build up strong golems. Be smart with Brann too, and don't play it without something to combo it with unless you would lose otherwise. Brann + Jade Spirit + Jade Spirit on turn 10 can win you the game single handedly if you built up your golems enough.
Good luck!
Hi, Im facing a Lot of pirate decks in wild ladder (rank 12 currently). Can you tell me what you think about: - eater of Secrets, - 2 wild growth, - auctioneer, in + 1 sludge, 1 ancient of war, + swamp ooze, + deathlord (or 2 deathlords instead of swamp ooze) ?
Definitely keep wild growth as playing those vs pirate warrior allows you to play larger taunts before they have a chance to react. However, yes I would take away 1 auctioneer in that case. You can also try doomsayers instead of living roots, as they can generally clear pirate boards
>Most warriors in wild are control warriors or cthun warriors rather than pirate warriors as well
Haha
this was when gadgetzan first came out. There were very few pirate warriors in wild so I used this to climb to rank 5 easily as I was mostly facing nzoth priests from the previous patch. I'm not sure what the situation in wild is like right now
I'm on NA. This version doesn't do badly against pirate warrior. Just mulligan hard for swipe. Belchers make this deck more consistent vs pirate warrior as well
