Why is there no Sylvanas, N'Zoth or other strong Deathrattle cards in it?
Lifecoach crafted this as a tempo deck, so even if Sylvanas or N'Zoth looks like good cards in a Deathrattle Rogue, they don't find their place in this deck. Simple explanation (Lifecoach also said this on stream) this is a tempo Rogue and N'Zoth is just too slow, this deck is more tempo based than a normal Deathrattle Rogue deck.
Is the argent squire useful?
The argent squire looks like a random card but if you play this deck you will see very soon that it can be a powerful card and i would definitely not replace it. It's good to make early big Edwin or to trigger the combo effects. The divine shield is also very strong here because with the cold blood it gets a 5/1 and you have a free trade and with an emty board it might be even hard for your opponent to deal with a 5/1.
What can i replace in this deck?
There are a lot of match ups where you might end with 2 saps in hand and you can't find any value. If you feel like you only face decks where a sap is not very strong than remove one and put a conceal in it (you should still keep one sap because it can still finde sometimes good value).
Edwin VanCleef is a very powerful rogue card and it is just not replaceable in this deck. There are many situations where a big VanCleef wins you the game or at least push enought pressure early on. Edwin VanCleef is one of your best win conditions and I would not replace it.
I have all the informations about the deck from Lifecoach's stream, I watched him playing this game for many hours and all I wrote down here are just his tips and opinions on this deck. If you want to learn more about it just watch his stream he explains almost everything about the decks he is playing.
Good luck playing this deck in this warrior-heavy meta....
This is why the deck runs raptor...
Sylvanas if you're not rushing a N'Zoth deck.
I believe Sylvanas doesn't easily find a place here, while N'Zoth does. We have several impactful cards with deathrattle. You can try playing both of them, as their combo is just great, but if I was to choose, I guess I'd pick N'Zoth for the slightly better late game it provides.
And indeed Geomancer is an ok replacement, but I'd test Loot Hoarder.
There is no Sylvanas or N'Zoth in that deck. Both are very optional for rogue. Thalnos, on the other hand, is essential for any rogue deck, but doesn't see much play outside of it (freeze mage is out of meta and yogg druids tend to skip it) so only craft it if you really enjoy playing rogue, it's pretty safe to say it will always be played. Kobold geomancer is a bad card and it is not recomended to run it, shiv is generally considered more suitable replacement, but nothing really compares in versatility with Thalnos.
It really depends on what you're facing the most. If you're seeing a lot of C'thun-based deck then N'Zoth is a autowin condition. If you're facing other kind of decks, like aggro or midrange/tempo, then I agree with you.
Really like to see a good rogue deck that doesn't involve gadgetzan.
bro you either are trolling or you must immediatly need to see a doctor for your eyes .
bitch pls, mill rogue, malygos rogue
Any replace for vancleef possible here?
yeah 8 other classes
1600 dust
you can win with rogue without edwin in the deck this is true, but edwin gives you free wins on turn 2-4 sometimes and he is almost never a dead card, which is also a strength when rogues second biggest weakness is having dead conditional cards. "waste" your cards, summon an 8/8
Why not just include N'zoth so you have some lategame....I mean it's only one card and unlike classes like hunter, Rogue has enough draw for it to not matter if you don't draw on curve every turn
The problem now days is the abundance every deck has of 3 hp minions.First of all ,like ALL decks,rng..luck is a huge factor. With every type deck i often find myself with few options and poor plays but no other choice than to make a poor play or no play at all.I played a very similar deck as this,it did not draw well or perform well, often losing card for card then load up on Gadgetzan is far too late, especially if denied those coins.
Example 1/3 wyrm or 1/3 Trogg or 1/3 warlock taunt etc etc. This means the SI is not as effective anymore in removing early minions.
Also the mage deck often at least my unlucky has the 0/2 taunts covering the wyrm ,so you play SI and it gets killed easily next turn 3 or 4 by various means. Then what ,waste an Evisc on a wyrm?Point being, the Rogue class is no longer the best at controlling the board anymore,it needs a steady stream of threats that are also tough to remove.I have lost to this deck myself, but not because it was any good but as istated,i tend to have terrible rng,bad opening hands, slow starts even with solid deck builds,it gives ANY deck a chance to win then.
Also VERY odd that LC plays a raptor card that he knows cannot be played on curve, something he has complained about in the past.
Example playing down a Thalnos just to support Raptor is a waste,Thalnos is there to support dmg buff NOT Raptor. Also BOTH Thalnos and the 2/2 are EASILY removed, not surviving another turn and any decent player knows what is up with this deck so yeah they are not surviving.Sp you end up playing a simple 3/2 for 3 "weak, losing play".
I would assume that 2x CB is to support the Teacher 1/1's...IF you draw it when need it,reason why most decks have always played 2x teacher, same reason there is 2x Gadgetzan.
Someone mentioned he added Conceal, makes sense, should have been there the first place if playing 2x CB.
I think this deck is for the more advanced player, Although Lifecoach could probably win a game with 30 x Wisp
but he'd stll rope every turn to think about his next move
Playing 2 Raptors with 5 deathrattle cards looks like a promising idea (not even using Xaril), as well as using no conceal with double cold blood and no leeroy.
There are 5 deathrattle cards and this deck works like charm. I recommend everyone to watch Lifecoach's broadcast on twitch. He teaches a lot, explains all the tought process.
Yeah, I know that he is explaining his thoughts, but the value out of the raptor is still pretty thin here. I tested the deck in a few games earlier today and you are way too often forced to play the raptor without the battlecry. A few more deathrattle minions, or cutting the raptors should increase the overall strength of the deck.
