So I made this deck on a whim, thinking that I'd just be having fun with it, but its actually been succeeding a lot in ranked, with a 10 win streak from rank 10 to rank 5 in 1 day. I haven't yet tried to climb higher, but I think it says enough about the validity of the deck itself. If I were to say, the win rate of the deck has been from 70%-80%, which isn't bad, I would say.
Mulligan
This deck is lacking in draw, so it's pretty important to curve well during the game. Keep 1 2 drop, unless you're going second against aggressive classes (shaman, hunter) and generally 1 or 2 3 drops. Against classes like palladin, which can swarm the board, keeping consecration is a fairly good idea.
How to Play
I'm not sure about what I should say when it comes to playing this deck. You pretty much play like a normal midrange pally, tempoing just enough to pressure your opponent but not so much that you walk into a board clear. The strength of the deck lies in the fact that you can make a board very threatening using only a few cards, and big minions are not required because of aldor and uldaman. Left untouched, Mukla's champion can make murloc knight a huge threat, and simply end the game. A lot of cards are going away in standard mode though, which sucks. Anyway, don't save an aldor or uldaman for the late game if you can not lose value and make a good play. Tempoing early game is very important, as the only board clear in the deck is consecration. Equality is used just in case the opponent opens extremely well, and you don't. Also make sure not to waste your coin. But I guess that's self-explanatory. (I'm lacking in tirion as well as justicar, which is why they're not in the list)
This deck is great. However I feel like u could sub out the sea giants for a solemn warning or more counter traps. Additionally, I feel that using Shooting Quasar Dragon would be a stronger card. Since your deck has a lot of silver hand Knights, justicar could work. Also, you should run some of the staple xyzs. Else this is a great deck.
I don't think you understand the purpose of the sea giants, they're there because you meet the summoning condition really easily with how you flood the board. That being said, you could really benefit from something like Ojama Delta Hurricane. I also think it's just stupid not to run Soul Charge in a deck like this.
Soul Charge isn't as strong as you would like, but its a decent option. The problem with Delta Hurricane is the removal condition. Running a couple negates would also be really strong. The problem with the Sea Giants is that a card like Honest or some other cards could easily destroy your Sea Giants. Also, if you want to get good, you should run counter traps.
ha i spelled paladin wrong lol
Is there a replacement for Dr. Boom or for Consecration. I don't have either of those cards
Yeah, you can run Harpie's Feather Duster instead of Consc because theres not much backrow destruction. For Boom, I'd suggest running Confessor Paletress or Sephylon the ultimate timelord.
This post does not violate the Curse Network TOS.
Seems like a decently average deck. I dont understand the inclusion of the second sea giant when instead you could run something such as Ragnaros instead. The guide on the other part makes no sense other than pointing out the synergy between two cards. Also, what is the mulligan for classes such as warlock and warrior?
