Proof:
Why 2x living roots and 2x azure drake?
I’ve been playing double roots double drake since forever and it’s been working great for me. The thing about running double living roots is that it makes you vulnerable to running out of steam, but having double azure drakes makes up for that. Also the synergy with azure drake is great. Since you have 2 living roots, 2 wraths, 2 swipes.
why no darnassus aspirant?
With living roots you have enough early game. Darnassus just dies too easily and is a dead card in the late game. It is a bit overrated in my opinion. Usually you want to either wild growth on 2 or innervate something like a shredder anyway.
Mulligan Guide
Always keep: Wild growth, innervate, living roots.
If you have wild growth already, keeping a 4 drop is fine too. Same goes for innervate, if you have it. Keep shade for turn 1 or shredder on turn 2.
Final words:
In the end it's just combo druid, this deck has been around for ages and I it's actually pointless to write an extended guide on this since there should be plenty of them on the internet.
If you want to see the deck in action, check out my stream: www.twitch.tv/tylerootd
Ancient of War also helps a great deal with pally if you can put it after they used their elderman card (brings any card's stat to 3/3) but in general, you want to rush a paladin as fast as possible. It will always be a tough match-up.
PS: I don't believe in the 80% win rate... this has to be stat given over 5-10 games on a win-streak just to catch the eye...
i always had trouble climbing with standard combo druids, suddenly with these little change i find this deck very competitive in the actual meta....it performs very good with any kind of control and with some attention also against aggro. some time old school is the way :)
same here. thank you for this great deck
Much innovative, very wow, such original

He just wanted to share the deck he used to climb to #1 Legend with. Whats the Problem with that?
How does an mc tech and jungle panther sound in place of shade of naxx. And a belcher in place of boom? Anyone have any better replacements, btw only have first two wings of naxx and 1st wing of brm.
I would add Sylvanas Windrunner and Mounted Raptor :)
Great deck, however just got 4 loses in a row against face shaman, he just floods the board way too quickly and there is nothing I can do against it D:
I've been playing Combo Druid for a while and I must say this list feels much better than others. Darnassus Aspirant was just too inconsistent in terms of payoff. Playing 2 Living Roots makes up for the early board presence you're losing by dropping Aspirants, and the double Azure Drake is so great.
Other lists almost seem like they're jamming in cards just for the sake of it, like Sir Finley Mrrgglton. Why would I want to change my hero power? Druid has one of the better powers.
Anyway, great list. Nice to stick to the basics for a change.
So,just using firebat's list?
You can use 1 Force of Nature as removal. In certain situations it's really useful for this, such against Tempo Mage with their Mirror Images. Alternatively it's possible to do the combo two turns in a row, dealing 28 total damage.
If that's your starting hand, well, you better pray you draw into something useful.
You mean as a starting hand? The same you do with any other bad hand: Pray for good topdecks :P Or your opp could also have a bad starting hand.
I use this deck by many season and long ago we did one of my 3 legend! Beautiful deck! ;)
Great deck! 9-3 at the time!
I've never been in any tourneys, but personal opinion, I love Harrison. Especially since ranks 5+ in ladder (at least for me) have had a lot of CW and Secret Pallys. Plus, theres no better feeling that Harrison'ing either a doomhammer, or best yet Jaraxxus.
Just logged in to say that I can not get a single win with any combo druid deck in ranks 20-15, no matter what starting hand, no matter what deck, going 0-12 with this and another deck that runs aspirants and no Ancient of Lore.
These decks have pitiful draw, no good clear, barely any good removal, and the combo does piss all damage, unless you're lucky enough to have board presence (somehow?) or get double savage roar after Emperor Thaurissan.
How in tf do you play these decks to friggin' legend?!
you just need to be more experienced.
In your case, the first step is to accept that you're the problem, not the deck. Went rank 20 to 15 just playing few times today with this deck.(I was kinda afk these months, that's why I was rank 20).
You can't be scared of using wild growth and innervate, or sometimes doing early trades with shade of naxx. The main cause of people loosing is focusing too much on combo and forget to stall the game, the opponent will snowball easily if you dont put preasure on the board.
Okay, but my point is that if you focus all your efforts on removal, sometimes having to use one force of nature, you're absolutely fucked, no late game big minions, aside from boom, and unless you get lucky and your opponent doesn't draw any removal (which this deck seems to lack) you have no way of killing... at all.
