This deck almost looks like a deck a new player put together, but just try it. It will surprise you.
Favored: Midrange Paladin, Secret Paladin, Face Hunter, Tempo Mage, Zoolock, Aggro Shaman, Midrange Shaman, Dragon Priest, Control Priest
Even: Midrange Druid, Aggro Druid, Freeze Mage, Oil Rogue
Unfavored: Control Warrior, Handlock
Mulligan:
High Priority: Northshire Cleric, Zombie Chow, (Power Word: Shield is High Priority if you have a 1 or 2 drop)
Pretty High Priority: Power Word: Shield, Wild Pyromancer, Shadowboxer, Injured Kvaldir
Keep Acidic Swamp Ooze against Hunter and Warrior. If you have a good hand already keep Velen's Chosen, Shattered Sun Cleric or Dark Cultist. Northshire into Coin Velen's is often extremely strong. Keep Blademaster + Circle of Healing if you already have a good start (usually with Zombie Chow)
If you want more lasting power you can switch Shrinkmeister and Holy Fire for Sylvanas Windrunner and Ragnaros the Firelord.
No chance without boom, for those who wanted to replace it like me
2nd Injured Kvaldir or 2nd Injured Blademaster :)
wargolem and 2 wisps
I thought the plurality of heal combos might be slow, but the deck curves out very well and remains aggressive. At rank 12 went 4-1 and almost came back and won the 5th game against a nightmarish mech mage start.
If you have already played priest decks like Holy 4000, you will be ready to use this deck right away. Just focus on dropping minions on curve, and always be aware of what class/removal you must play around. You need to think about playing around removal every time you choose what to buff, or what to heal, or which minion to play, but the board overwhelms them quickly if you make the right decisions, and Holy Champion is terrifying.
A mulligan guide would be nice...
too slow for being an aggro, synergies are kinda clunky and relies too much on a good hand. Still, loses even with perfect hand if opponent has at least a mediocre start. would not recommend at any rank.
edit: really, I tried some other matches as I got control only so far (and lost badly). well, got finally 4 aggros in a row. and lost badly again. seems this deck is not only bad vs control but even vs aggro. the problem is, being an aggro, you might run easily out of gas, especially if you fail to see cleric in starting hand. even with cleric (which normally doesn't last more than 1 turn unless you see a buffer in time) if you start healing around in first turns you lose the tempo in dropping minions which is what an aggro deck does to win. also, there's a high risk of having an empty hand and topdeck 1 or 2 spells in a row on an empty board, resulting in insta-concede. bad, bad, bad under all circumstances. 86% winrate just means you might have played it below rank 20 with people on their first game ever.
I would suggest trying to learn the deck in Casual. I've hit Legend multiple times and am currently playing this at Rank 5. Basically what you're saying about the tempo loss with healing is correct. Most of the time in the early game you want to be dropping minions instead and control the board. Once you have enough board, you can start refilling your hand with Cleric (+Circle of Healing if possible). Before you run out of steam, you want to be hitting face and finishing your opponent off with a Lightwarden/Holy Champion combo, Spawn of Shadows or Holy Fire.
Nice deck, but having 1 legendary doesn't make this deck cheap any longer. But this seems as a nice deck indeed.
Like Vultrae said, I would have tried this deck in Casual first. Most likely the reason is that you are unfamiliar with the deck. I am playing this at Rank 5+ as well. And as well as this, aggro decks are, well, not control decks. They run pretty much no pure removal. The only removal spells/minions they might run are the ones that have a secondary purpose e.g. Implosion summons imps, Holy Fire can hit face.
Just played my second game with this deck and won by a long shot. Received a friend request and message after the match. 10/10 would play deck again.

Thanks for the laugh ^_^ This deck can really obliterate people - even I was skeptical when I played my first game with this deck after creating it on a whim. Little did I know it would take me on a fun and huge win streak!
This deck seems incredibly fun, but I'm curious if anyone has been using it in legend ranks. Aggro priest seems to have some deceptively strong tools these days.
Right now i'm playing it at Rank 5+ and it's still incredibly strong :D
There is not Mind Blast because it is not a face deck, just an aggro deck. Mind Blast is completely useless unless you have lethal. Combos with Lightwardens/Holy Champions, as well as Holy Fire and Spawn of Shadows act as finishes. You can also win many games through sheer board control alone.
Right now I am at rank 13 and I will let you know how it goes throughout my experience with it.
Good god, I made an account just so I could comment on how good and fun this deck is.
That being said, half the match is starting with the right hand. Ideally you want Northshire Cleric with Velen's Chosen
Sorry for not replying earlier, I'm not a frequent visitor of Hearthpwn :/. When I first posted this I was at Rank 8, having an insane 86% winrate from Rank 15 - 8. Right now I am at Rank 5 and my winrate has remained pretty much the same.
What rank is this deck played at? ive tried it in 3 games rank 6, 3 losses. Patron warrior, control warrior and a midrange paladin. Just seems to weak to either getting aoe'd or lacking aoe (for example against the midrange paladin)
Edit: 0-4, mech mage.
0-5, oil rogue.
1-5, face hunter. HURRAY
1-6, midrange hunter.
1-7, midrange paladin.
2-7, midrange hunter.
2-8, control warrior.
IM OUT! Road from rank 6-9!
Thank you for this deck, been looking for a cheap effective deck for Priest dailies, and this has been working extremely well.
