Feel free to ask any questions. If this deck gets any views I'll right a Deck writeup.
Hunters Mark kills most heavy minions and has great synenergy with pyromancer and dreadscale. Loatheb effectively stops Druid combo's. Flare makes (+free draw) Christmas tree paladins a cakewalk and this deck give you plenty of ways of dealing with Aggro decks.
I built a deck that surprisingly similar. It does really fit the "anti-meta" bill rather nicely. I was tempted to take out the bow/secrets altogether though, I'd like to get your thoughts on that. Just always seemed like because I wasn't rushing to "go-face" that I usually used my bow to clear minions but vs decks like face hunter and other aggro ones out there this just got my health into "danger zones" too quickly. I would definitely play another acolyte of pain since this is the basis for all your card draw. In my deck I run a big game hunter instead of an owl. I also run sylvanas, and black knight. I like that you're running Gazrilla, I have been thinking about adding him.
The bow can be a problem if you take too much damage because you use it to remove minions of the board, traps like explosive trap can stop aggro decks without giving yourself any face damage. It kinda depends on what your run into on the ladder and you always have to keep your health in mind facing aggro decks. If you face a lot of aggro decks I would remove the bow and add in more explosive traps etc that prevent them from doing much. I like the fact that you run BGH/Black Knight in your deck, I use the owl to clear taunt or deathrattle's etc, one of the problems for this deck can be handlocks if your don't have your Hunter's mark in your hands. I've always loved Sylvanas, she provides a solid body and a lot of opponents feel forced to deal with her rather then to just ignore her. I use Gahz'rilla as a big finisher, with either a Pyromancer or Dreadscale on your board you can easily double his attacks for big finishes when opponents either don't expect it or when it seems your deck is running out of steam.
