I wish this deck was less simple. I wish it contained some brilliant combinations and tricks that would make me seem like a genius for building this.
It's not complicated, it's basic. Basic dumb aggro fun and it absolutely works.
The introduction of the shocking heavy-hitter Shady Dealer and the adorably useful Buccaneer have finally created the opportunity for a viable pirate deck, and one that has me 7-2, usually winning my matches on turn six. The one thing you have to be careful of, in a deck like this, is order of operations. Make sure you attack with One-eyed Cheat before you throw down another pirate (for silences). Know when to throw down your Southsea Captain or to trigger a Ship's Cannon.
Play methodically, go for the jugular, win.
As always please leave whatever feedback you can as I'd love to see this deck slowly develop.
P.S. The reason for the lack of Skycap'n Kragg is simply I don't have him yet, and have heard mixed things about him from other HS'ers. I'll have to wait and see how he fits in personally before I make an assumption.
Why no saps? Such a good card for aggro decks.
I truly want to fit it in, but the only thing it could replace is Eviscerate, which has the nice reach. I'll return to figuring out what to swap out soon as I can.
What would you take out to put capn crunch in
I'd actually go with Captain Greenskin. He's nice to have due to his light weapon buff and higher survivability, but with all the Oil and Poison the weapon buff isn't really needed and he's not exactly the game-winner.
Having just two pirates on board (har) gives him the same mana cost as Greenskin, but the charge and added health makes him worth substantially more.
I have a feeling this deck has potential - I just have problems keeping the board in my control :s
I suck
This is an aggro deck.
