Since you know it's a mill rogue before turn it's pretty easy to flood the board with minions and just not cast the Fel Reaver. So I guess it's an extremely uncommon matchup against bad players that really works for you. Have fun buddy!
Oh yeah cause YOU KNOW it's mill rogue before hand right? Sure you have mind power to know exactly what you're up against. Like mill rogue is common now... Yeah sure! Against me, you'll know it only when it'll be too late! See ya bud, get good
I'll challenge you any day! I beat face hunter 80% of the time, so shaman is a walk in the park
Deathlord/Oracles/Mukla/Gang Up/Vanish/Shadowstep or just general playstyle. A total lack of certain key cards in Oil Rogue and you don't play like tempo. Generally by the time you can cast a Reaver you can tell if it's Mill pretty easily.
Nothing really. Not the answer you probably want but Doomhammer is extremely unique. For a much higher mana cost (and dust cost) Al'kir is the next best thing. Doomhammer gives you steady board control or end game burst. The hammer+rockbiter combo is an extremely common 2 card combo to burst down the last 10 of an opponent.

it works really well !
(actually rank 13)
I did the exact same myself. I just went from 16-13 in a streak. The reavers are prolly really viable, but I never found a good spot to use em. either I had won either way, or I missplayed and was punished heavily.
Dont know about this. I am currently at rank 8, and have won several games on the back of the reavers. Granted, a lot of these games I won with no cards left in my deck, but that hardly matters as long as you can win on the counter swing.
If they remove it, great, it was basically just a 5 mana 8/8 with no drawback. If they don't remove it you usually win as well unless they have a few taunts.
I have to agree with what you said about the fel reavers being great. Fel reavers are huge bodies for only 5 mana. It fits into the aggro scheme, meaning that discarding 15 cards wouldn't matter, because you would never use that many cards to win in the first place. Fel reavers are minions that your enemy has to remove. Many opponents become too preoccupied trying to make you lose as many cards as possible, without realizing that suddenly you have a giant minion on the board. And, even if it gets removed(sap, bgh), you lose 3 cards. Big deal.
Also, the enemy has to use removal on it. They could have saved bgh for boom, but they have to get rid of the reaver. Your enemy could have easily sapped your buffed up whirling zapo, but they have to get rid of the reaver. Overall, it fits into the aggro mindset because if you opponent can't remove it in one turn(which they usually cannot), then you can inflict some major damage on the enemy hero.
Also, just a heads up, a buddy of mine hit legend with a mech shaman that was similar to this one except instead dr. boom and a shredder, he put in two wind speakers, only solely to give the reavers wind fury.
FYI, he played against Trump with this deck and he absolutely destroyed him. When my buddy played wind speaker, Trump said: "Oh my gosh, people actually use that card?" But, he got smashed in the face for 16 and crackle and that was game. My friend also said that wind fury(the card) was viable, but he really liked having the 3 3 body out there. So, that is why fel reaver is included in the Mech Shaman deck. However it can always be traded out for something if you don't like it.
Great deck ! I won so many times thanks to the Fel Reaver. This deck have so many bursts it's not a big deal to discard half of his deck !
I lose to so many low rank players with this deck. Not sure how its getting so many + votes.
très bon deck
Not sure why you guys are being downv'ed just for offering your valid opinions. I'm not sold on the need for fel reavers in this deck as there isn't much synergy that I've seen.
Awesome deck thanks for the post! I made a deck spotlight video and yeaaaaaah this deck has some insane burst potential lol! That doomhammer + rockbiter combo though #RIPPlzHaveMercy! Poor zoolock was :BabyRage: so hard in the second game :4Head:
when i see decks like that, its obvious how shaman needs stronger early game minions/more early synergies to be competetive.
nice deck, probably the most competetive shaman deck at the moment.
Good deck. I just made a small change of -1 Fel Reaver +1 Loabeth, mainly b/c I lack the second Fel Reaver and Loabeth's ability comes in handy when grinding the ladder. Cheers
Replacements for Fel Reaver? I don't have a pair, or even one for that matter, and I don't feel like crafting it because I don't really like the card.
i didnt have those either and i was pretty short on dust too but believe me the deck is not the same without them, they add just too much preasure in the right moment its game chaning
Bomb lobber or card draw (Azure)
